Recently we had NHS clinicians come to speak to our Stage 3 MPhys and Stage 2 MSc Physiotherapy students about Paediatric Physiotherapy. Following this session, Aimee, one of our MPhys students, felt inspired to arrange some additional shadowing experience at the Aberdeen Neonatal Unit. This experience was close to home for Aimee, who was born at 28 weeks in the NNU. She was even able to find some photos of her as a baby on their wall!
Thanks for sharing this with us, Aimee!

As part of Connect & Reflect Week we offered some optional on-campus skills clinics to all of our Physiotherapy students today which focused on areas of MSK, Neuro and Respiratory practice. It was fantastic to see students from different cohorts coming together and sharing their knowledge, skills and experience with each other. We finished off with a pot luck lunch which was an absolute treat and another lovely opportunity for everyone to socialise. Great effort by all involved 💪
