Had great results with this lovely c section mum 3 months post section. She came to me as she felt her abdomen was tight and her scar was pulling and causing discomfort.

This photo is 2 weeks apart, lots of fluid shifted and a much softer scar - she reported feeling much more comfortable and able to stretch/move easier. Delighted to hear this 🤩

Join us for our first ever C-section workshop, an informative and supportive session designed to empower you in your C-section recovery journey.

If you have had a C section within the last 6 months, then this session is for you.

We'll provide you with practical advice and expert guidance on how to properly care for your scar. From understanding the stages of scar maturation to learning about gentle massage techniques, identifying the best products to promote healing and minimize discomfort and discovering the best exercises to facilitate your recovery.

You'll leave feeling informed, confident, and connected with others who share your experience.

This 2hr workshop will be running from our base in Cults Business park and costs £35. Babies are welcome to join us in the session although unfortunately we won't have space to accommodate prams.

Lovely session with Deeside Fitness today learning about her postnatal (and regular) fitness classes. Traded some scar work therapy and hopefully some insights into c section care. It’s great to work alongside other professionals looking to improve the post partum journey..

Keloids are caused by an overgrowth of scar tissue and can be larger than the original injury. Keloids can be itchy, tender and aesthetically displeasing for clients.

This is a keloid scar post hip replacement and is causing the client a lot of pain and sensitivity in the area. Scar work is helping with this and we are also using silicone patches to assist with dryness and help improve the colour of the scar. Keloids are typically much slower to show a response to treatment but can be improved

Fascinating day spent at the hyperbaric unit learning about decompression and the use of the chamber in wound care and following radiation. Few claustrophobic moments but once in the chamber it’s surprisingly calm!

Keyhole scars are small round scars typically left behind from a surgical procedure. These scars can vary in size and may fade over time but in many cases although they look neat and healed they can cause discomfort in the structures underneath.
This scar is from gall bladder surgery 5 months ago. The client noted abdominal discomfort, bloating and pain around the scar site. I treated her with scar work and she noted an instant improvement in the pain around the site and her abdomen was notably flatter.
"Honestly I feel so much better and less restricted after treatment - thank you"

This was a birthmark removal that responded really well to scar work. The eyelid area had a skin graft with poor healing. The client was left with a scar as well as a tightness around her eye making it difficult to shut fully. She also felt very congested in her sinuses post surgery. The skin surrounding the eye was lumpy in texture and she had adhesions into her cheek and nasal area. She only required 2 sessions of scar work and the difference was notable. She reported full closing of her eye, a 'lightness' around her eye area and less congestion.

Last scar clinic this year finished 🤩 thank you all so much for all your support and positive feedback this year - it’s great to see so many people benefitting from scar therapy - lots of exciting plans for 2024.
