One thing I utilised during my holiday was water therapy to aid the rehabilitation of my wrist injury 🤚🏼
Swimming or even just mobilising in water is an effective form of recovery as the buoyancy of the water reduces the effects of gravity, therefore reducing demand on the effected area..
As it is low-impact or non-weight baring, it allows individuals to exercise without putting excessive stress on our joints / muscles 💪🏼
Creating an overall supportive environment for healing and allowing individuals to complete physical activity without exacerbating their condition ❤️🩹
Hi everyone!
I am now back from my holiday and on a steady recovery to get my wrist back to its baseline. It’s hard to say a time frame at the moment as I am still restricted in my movement and strength, but I have a physio appointment next week where I should know more..
Apologies as this is not much of an update but I have to ensure I’m as right as I can be before coming back, to which will be a steady comeback..

Range of movement tests 🤸🏼♀️
During consultations or presenting with new problems, I may ask you to complete range of movement tests to determine the severity and location of the described problem ❌
This is a great way to showcase the impact a massage can have in terms of improving range of motion and reducing tense muscles/stiffness in joints 💪🏼
My client came to me with issues in her left shoulder, noticing this in her daily life activities and during exercise 🏃🏼♀️
During the test, my client is leaning forwards in the first picture showing struggle, and was in pain attempting this movement..
After the treatment we can see an improvement in the mobility of the left shoulder, reduced tension and ease to complete the movement, shown in the pictures below ✨

A perfect example of why I wanted the word ‘balance’ in my rebrand ✨
Something I often post is before, during and after pictures in order to display the treatments I offer, and show just how much a massage can make a difference 🌿
Most, if not everyone, holds tension in their shoulders, upper back and neck area..and massage is an efficient way to relieve this 💆🏼♀️
As you can see in the first picture, my client Nathan has had one side worked on (his right shoulder) and after treatment is visibly reduced in tension, inflammation and muscle imbalance 🪢
In the second picture we can see the angle which shows the reduction of inflammation in the muscles (one side is lower than the other) 🩸
Nathan’s career involves long hours office based, accompanied by regular sport and exercise outside of work (gym & football).
Good habits to work alongside massage to reduce the chances of injury/infirmity occurring would be:
