As a black female Nina Simone paved the way for artists of my generation to not give up on their dreams and hopes. I am delighted to be celebrating her life and legacy with some of UKs top musicians”

Every now and then, Ben Waghorn (sax), Andy Christie (gtr), Andy Keep (bs), and Andy Tween (dr) join Frome Jazz Club pianist Keith Harrison-Broninski to play classic Code Red material for a special occasion from 12-3pm on Sunday 8th September, it’s Somerset Jazz Festival.

Tangled up in Blues – Radford Mill Blues Festival Radford Mill is a 110 acre farm managed organically since 1976. The Cam Brook runs down the middle of the farm and festival site. There is plenty of space for camping, on-site and lots of enchanting spots to discover during the weekend

Fermenting on the Farm!
Come and join us for a morning on the farm and learn how to make your own Sauerkraut and pickles. We'll go on a tour of the farm to see where and how we grow our beautiful organic veg. You'll be able to harvest your own ingredients straight from the field. Once back in the kitchen, we'll show you how to transform our tasty veggies into Sauerkrauts and pickles, with every person taking home two full jars to enjoy at home.

Fermenting your own food is a really brilliant skill to learn. It preserves food for longer, creates complex and interesting flavours and also boosts the beneficial microorganisms in your gut, supporting good health and wellbeing.
