YNGR Design Ltd has received planning permission and listed building consent to transform an old brick stable building into a dedicated teaching space for Low Carbon Technology on Herefordshire and Ludlow College’s Holme Lacy Campus.
The existing steel trusses will be retained with a new insulated steel roof and rooflights installed above. The external walls will be insulated and lined with plasterboard to improve energy-efficiency, whilst new low energy lighting, Air Source Heat Pumps, roof-mounted Solar PV and efficient MVHR system will create an exemplar low-carbon refurbishment.
The project started on site at the end of November, with a rapid 4 month build programme.

Delighted to receive progress photos of this modern extension under way on Bailbrook Lane in the Bath Conservation Area.
The extension increases the ground floor area to the rear of the property allowing space for a family living room and dining area with glazed doors into the garden.
