So engrossed into their work, teabreak was almost a miss!

We held homage to Quentin Blake and his unique style last week with our returning students. A chance to take inspiration and also create their own characters from imagination!

Did you know that the space between our eyes where our nose starts, is exactly the space of another eye? Did you also just check with your index finger and thumb? 🤔

What a difference a mount makes!

Thank you to all our students who made our end of season exhibition magical. I think you all surprised yourselves with the sheer quantity and quality of artwork you produced.

We celebrated in style with prosecco, nibbles and great artistic conversation. Not to mention our Certificate Ceremony. We celebrate you, our Spring Season Art Class Students! 🖼🎨🖌💜

Our last week of acrylic painting, our muse... the great outdoors! This is the week where everything roles into one and the students have put all they've learned so far into their final pieces for this season. Some are works still in beautiful progress, and we're all excited to see them finished at the exhibition in a couple of weeks time!

Their studies allowed them to gain a sense of perspective and composition. They even went outside the box and experimented with colour. I'm sure you can agree, that they've done an outstanding job. 🖼🎨🖌

Working with acrylic paint, using brushes, knives and techniques suited to them, our students found their way through the foliage and trees to create these beautiful works of art! 🎨🖼🖌
