The "global community" only remembers Palestine when it re sists. The world is deaf to the sobs of the oppressed, but will hear it very clearly when the oppressed acts! It is the power of action. Throughout the entire history of mankind, no people were able to gain their freedom by being a helpless victim waiting sympathy. Freedom is only won through action. Defiance. Revolution. Re sis tance.
75 years of genocide against the Palestinian people in their own land, and this silent global community still expects that Palestinians should wait an international permission to re sist with "legitimacy." Something that will never happen in a million years, obviously. 75 years of impunity for the Israeli occupation. 75 years of complicity against Palestinians. 75 years of absurd political solutions, which despite their absurdity, were never allowed to be implemented. 75 years of abandoning Palestinians to face the Israeli killing machine unarmed; one massacre after another. Once again now, the world must hear it loud and clear. Re sis tance against occupation is a basic human right and need. Palestinians gave the world their back when the world gave them theirs some 7 decades ago. They are not looking after international empathy and recognition of the legitimacy of their actions, which according to international law are in fact recognized and legitimate. Rather, they will do everything it takes to survive and win freedom.
Here is a tribute to the Palestinian freedom fighters Mohammad Alewy (13 years old), Khairi Alqam (21 years old), and Karam Salman (18 years old) who acted against occupation and made the world listen again to Palestine. Khairi and Karam were both shot dead, whereas the child Mohammad was shot and detained alive.
