Bronagh is a dedicated podiatrist whose commitment to foot care has made a real difference to our patients. She has a particular interest in managing ingrown nails through minor surgery and tackling verrucas with Swift therapy. Her skills in these areas are second to none, and she’s become an invaluable member of our team.

We know Bronagh prefers to stay out of the limelight, but it’s hard to keep such dedication and talent under wraps. So here’s to Bronagh - thank you for everything you do! 🥳🥳 Meet Our New Team Member at Ormeau Road Clinic

We are delighted to announce that Darren has joined our podiatry team at the Ormeau Road and Lisburn Road clinics. Originally from Galway, Darren completed his podiatry training at the University of Galway and is currently enhancing his skills through a Master of Science (MSc) in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Ulster University.

Darren has a strong background in sports, including Hurling and athletics he is an accomplished 60m and 100m sprinter.
He is also a keen golfer! 🏌️‍♂️

His professional credentials include registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC: CH036839) and the Royal College of Podiatry (RCOP: 43789).

Darren’s expertise and passion for sports and podiatry make him a valuable addition to our team. We look forward to his contributions to our clinic and the care of our patients. Welcome aboard, Darren.

It's not uncommon for our patients to call, requesting a foot injection because they've experienced temporary relief from it in the past. However, we always respond with a few essential questions:

1. Have you undergone a thorough assessment?
2. Has a scan been conducted?
3. Have you been provided with specific exercises to aid in your recovery?

Surprisingly, a vast majority - 99% of the time - the answer to these questions is 'no.' Some patients are even taken aback that an assessment is needed, assuming they already know the diagnosis.

While Plantar fasciitis is a prevalent foot condition, it's not always the root cause. Steroid injections, though effective for some, are not our first line of treatment. We believe in a personalised, research-guided approach to patient care. This ensures that we administer the most suitable treatment to the right patient at the most opportune time. There will be mixed caseload with generals, minor surgical and a strong emphasis on msk.

Fantastic result after ONLY 1 treatment using . removal can be so frustrating for both patient and Podiatrist. But this machine has literally changed the game its non invasive meaning no needles / pain and backed up by research. Happy patient = happy podiatrist!
