The Global Learning Programme (GLP) aims to strengthen the capacity of schools in Northern Ireland to deliver global learning across the curriculum at Key Stage 2 and 3 through the provision of support and high quality teacher training. Centre for Global Education is indebted to NIPSA for supporting our education programme for 12-16 yr old Palestinian and Syrian children in three camps in Beirut. The programme is providing formal education classes to children unable to attend school in Lebanon. The project is being delivered in Burj Barajneh, Rashidieh and El Buss refugee camps in partnership with the Women's Program Association, a Palestinian NGO.

Centre for Global Education is delighted to announce a new 2-year project in Lebanon for Palestinian and Syrian refugees funded by the NIPSA Developing World Fund. It will provide formal education classes and psychosocial support to 100 children in 3 Palestinian camps in Beirut and Tyre, Lebanon starting in March 2024.
