Unfortunately we are experiencing a power cut and have to close early today. Hopefully back in business tomorrow.

And just like that we’re back !

If you are out and about over the weekend we’d love to see you. On the menu this weekend we have Cajun Chicken pasta salad, or Caprese Salad and marinated olives served with our lovely freshly baked focaccia. Today’s soup is Cream of Tomato and we will have plenty of our homemade cakes and scones on offer. Open 10-3 , see you soon

Well done to all the kids, teachers and St Andrews Hospice volunteers and staff for completing another successful Tinto Hill Climb, see you all next year 👏

We have been made aware of some local concerns around this week's Tinto Hill event.

The safety of the pupils and teachers taking part is our number one concern. This year, we had over 3,500 people taking part from 36 Secondary Schools from across North and South Lanarkshire and had not one accident.

No child ever crossed the A73. We have numerous checks and procedures in place to ensure participants exit and enter the coaches within the confines of a car park.

We are anticipating that this event will raise over £85,000 that will fund specialist palliative care and support for patients and their loved ones.

Hi everyone, a wee change to our opening hours this week. We are open today and tomorrow as usual then closed on Sunday.
We reopen on Monday to support St Andrew’s Hospice school hill walks, so please be aware for the next two weeks starting on Monday there will be school buses arriving in the morning usually between 9.30 -10.30, and again in the afternoon to pick the kids up usually between about 1.30/2pm

This weekend at the tearoom we have Chicken and Sweetcorn Chowder, Cream of Broccoli and Camembert soups and our brunch special this weekend is Chocolate Chip Brioche French Toast with strawberries, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. See you soon
