It may just seem like a little bit of plastic, but did you know our clear aligners are made from a patented SmartTrack material? 💫

It has been developed by biomechanics engineers to allow for predictable and comfortable tooth movement and only used in Invisalign Aligners. Now that’s a whole lot of technology for a little bit of plastic!

This is a fixed retainer. In certain cases, we recommend it following orthodontic treatment. For example, when the risk of relapse is high or after closing large gaps between teeth. 
It is an adjunct to the retainer that covers all of your teeth and its aim is to prevent movement in the aesthetic zone. Theres a wealth of evidence to support its use however your oral hygiene must be excellent as it becomes tricky to floss!

For those that don’t know, matching the colour of a single front tooth is one of the most difficult things to do in dentistry!

This is due to the dehydration that occurs when isolating the site (this subsides within 24hrs). For this reason we ascertain the shade prior to restoring to ensure the best colour match.

Tooth whitening is a common procedure that involves the use of custom made trays together with specialised gel to gradually lighten the colour of your teeth. This is done to improve the appearance of the teeth, by removing stains and discolouration that has occurred over time. It may also be used to treat some dental diseases (I.e. Fluorosis, teeth darkened due to trauma, etc). Tooth whitening is incredibly safe and effective when planned well.
