The July edition of Moseley B13 Magazine is out this weekend! The issue celebrates a wealth of anniversaries from Moseley Festival (4-7 July) reaching its 50th year to Riverside Church - Birmingham at 40 and Moseley Thinkers’ group contemplating its first year.
There also Ben Waddington on writing Brum and Sherlock Holmes’s connection to the city; six pages of Newshound local news stories; four pages of The Guide: Best events in Moseley, Balsall Heath & Kings Heath; and much, much more!

Would you like the opportunity to become our digital designer? Then we need you! The candidate would work with the editor each month to design the latest issue and the role can be completed working remotely at home. The post is voluntary and is a great way to gain experience in design, journalism and involvement with the local community.

The issue contains cover star and Moseley’s nocturne artist Robert Geoghegan; Moseleyite Steve Doswell on his new book about running in 28 (as it was) EU countries; The Heath Bookshop Literature and Music Festival; Open Gardens 2024; Moseley Society History Group on Gallipoli/Anzac Day…and much, much more!

The new look March edition of Moseley B13 Magazine is out this weekend!
The issue features David Isgrove asking what happened to Moseley’s Lost Money - the sum of £76,237.66.
We also feature Toqueer Quyyam on What Eco-Justice Looks Like as an Ethnic Minority; write about the worrying budget cuts which find our Our Local Libraries Under Threat; and Ian Cook reflects on The Unintended Consequences of LTNs.
The magazine also celebrates International Women's Day 2024 with a look at local inspirational women. Izzy Knowles writes about Ruth Tetlow on the anniversary of the Debt Justice campaign; the Moseley Society History Group remembers Elizabeth Grevis of Moseley Hall; and we have a section dedicated to the best events in The Guide to March.

Moseley B13 Magazine desperately needs a last minute voluntary graphic designer to design our latest issue this week (printing deadline is next Tuesday, 23rd January)!
Unfortunately our designer had to drop out at the last minute so we’re hoping someone can step in this week to create the layout for the new issue. The role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in published design and journalism, and also work on this 50-year old (and counting!) community magazine.
