Molehill Green Village Hall & Community
Community Hub for Molehill Green Village hall Please join us on our journey.
As of the 7th November 2020, Molehill Green Village Hall has new trustees from the village to lead in reshaping the Village Hall.
We are pleased to announce that our Defibrillator is now live and ready to be used. It is also registered nationally on Circuit and could help anyone in the area.
It’s such a small but important thing to have in the village and I hope in the event someone needs it, it’s close enough to help.
We have a CPR training Kit at the village hall too, so we hope in the near future we can provide training and raise money to keep the pads, batteries and other bits maintained moving forward.

Saturday 11th November. Working Party at the Village Hall.
We will be having a general outside tidying session and have a few jobs that need to be done before winter truly arrives. So come along 10.30am at the Hall.
If you can't make it we are looking for donations of Spring bulbs to plant, to cheer us up in February and March. Most supermarkets sell them so pop one in your trolley and help us shine next Spring. We have jobs everyone can help with. The more help, the quicker the task.
Be nice to see some different faces.
Broadband is out, workers on School Lane, have dug it up!!!!!
We have had a busy few weeks at the hall. As you can see we have a new floor and ceiling, making the hall look like it should. This is a major step for what we are trying to achieve, but have a long way to go and alot of money to raise. We have also have had a kind donations of tables and chairs.
If you have suggestions/ ideas on any fund raising event, please let us know. Our next big steps are a full rewire and plumbing with new toilets( not cheap) What would you participate in if we organised it. We will be organising a working party for September....all welcome.
A belated update from the weekends events
A big thank you to everyone that helped, especially
Book a buffet for their generous tasty donation of sausages and burgers. Waitrose, Sainsbury and McDonalds. The Bosher family in laws and outlaws for their help and support. Ray and Keith for their barbecue skills, Bex and Tina for making sure people got fed. Martin Carr for his skills in creating games and putting up with me. Lucy and Debbie for manning stalls and games. Ian for keeping traffic flowing. All the Runners for participating and lastly for everyone who turned up. The proceeds will go towards getting the hall back up and running. Again thank you, we couldn't do it without you.

Update, the bonfire at the Village Hall will be tomorrow night. Sorry for the inconvenience, shouldn't take long to burn.
We will be having a small bonfire at the Village Hall at some point this week, it will be in the evening. If you could mention it to your neighbours, to keep your windows shut just for a short time. I will try and let you know which evening it will be. Thank you.
A huge well done to James Bosher who ran the London Marathon today in a impressive 2.36.36.
Well done. Time to put your feet up.
Working party at the Village Hall this Sunday 10.30am.
We would love to see some new faces. 2 hours of your time is all we ask.
Next working party for Village Hall will be Sunday 23rd April. Weather permitting we will be looking at a good tidy up outside, with a few jobs inside. Those interested please let us know.
A productive but disappointing day at the Village Hall.
The weather was on our side, but sadly community support wasn't. Thank you to those who participated.
With regards to this weekends activities for the Village Hall. We have decided to limit the activity to just Saturday due to forecasted weather. We are now limited to how many people we can have in the hall, as it has no floor. If you would like just to come and have a look at what progress is being made and have a chat, we would love to see you.
We still need volunteers for Saturday, but know this is not convenient for everyone. We will be at the Hall tomorrow from 10.30am for a few hours. Look forward to seeing you. Gloves required.
Next week we are planning a working party to help with getting the hall back to being a community space. If you want to come and help we will welcome you with open arms. There is some work inside to be done and a general tidy outside, including a bit of digging. We can accommodate people that want to help on Saturday and Sunday. Come and say hello and see the progress we are making.
If you can let us know which day you can help either leave a comment or PM .
See you next week.
Next working party 11th and 12th March for Village Hall.
We have floor boards to remove and outside tidy up. We may need to have a bonfire, so please inform your friends and neighbours.
Remember this is a community project and everyone is welcome.
Let us know if you will be attending so we can make sure we have jobs and equipment for everyone.
Today we started a tidy up at the Village Hall.
We are looking for volunteers who have spare time in Febuary and March to help with various projects. This is a community project and without the help of the community we could loose this building.
We need anyone with or without a trade or skill that could donate their time. It's a huge project we have taken on and we can't achieve this one our own.
There are lots of jobs to be done.
If you are interested to know about the Village Hall and what we are trying to achieve or would like to organise a fund raising event for the hall, please get in touch. Pm me for more info. We need you.
Just to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas, to thank everyone who has contributed, taken part and or supported our little community.
Here's hoping for more fun, games and activities in 2023. We have a few things in the pipeline and hope to see you on the otherside.
On a personal note, thank you for all the support over the last few months, it has truly been appreciated and welcomed.
