Earlier today Chester group set off for Lourdes with lots of smiles, laughter and excitement. We wish them bon voyage and a wonderful pilgrimage together 💜💜💜

Group 2415 have had a wonderful week in Lourdes with some amazing memories being made. They have celebrated Mass together in many beautiful places, had picnics galore and an amazing night in their fancy dress! We are delighted they have all enjoyed their pilgrimage and we wish them a safe journey home 💜💜

Our next National Group left Scotland this morning and made their way south picking up helpers, nurses and VIPs en-route. So many happy, smiling faces! We wish them all a wonderful pilgrimage and safe travels 💜💜💜

National group 2415 have had some lovely sunny weather in Lourdes. On Sunday they celebrated Mass together at St. Bernadette’s altar, followed by a picnic on the grass. Later they went to the Blessing of the Sick in the underground basilica.

The weather was perfect on Monday for a trip out to Gavarnie. Monica and Stephen celebrated their wedding anniversary so they renewed their vows during a beautiful outdoor Mass. Lots of the group cooled down in the icy waters of the river, with the whole group enjoying the fresh mountain air! They finished their day off with a fun quiz.. which may have got just a little bit competitive!

What an amazing first full day in Lourdes for National Group 2415 starting with a visit to the Cachot, then the Parish Church where the group reaffirmed their baptismal promises at the same font from which St Bernadette was baptised. Followed by Mass and a visit to the Grotto, then a stop at the Riviera Sol before the torchlight to end a lovely first day. A great start to their holiday with Our Lady.

This morning our Across National group 2415 left the north east and headed south picking up VIPs and helpers on the way. On board we have an amazing group of young people, all full of excitement, ready to help make the next 10 days really special. Pat Franklin celebrates her birthday today too! We hope you’re having a lovely celebration on your journey down to Lourdes. 🎉🎈🎂

Our National Group 2409 left Glasgow this morning and are now well on their way down to Lourdes. It’s Jo’s birthday so we’re hoping they’ve had some celebrations on the way! 🎉

Very early this morning the wonderful Dundee Group set off on their journey to Lourdes. This group travels the furthest of all our Across groups but always with lots of happy, smiling faces onboard! This weekend we attended the Catenian Association Annual Conference in Warwickshire. We were greeted, as always. with the most lovely warm welcome, and there was so much interest and support in the work of Across and the Jumbulance.
Andrew Sowerby, the Catenians National President, has already travelled with Across twice, and is booked again on a group in July! We are delighted to have him onboard! 💜 The Catenian Association

Over the last couple of days some of our fantastic driver team attended the Drivers Conference at the base in the midlands. An amazing amount of information and training in preparation for the 2024 season. Everything from CPR to tachographs, safeguarding to group loading and, of course, including all things Jumbulance. Well done to Andy and the team for making this such an excellent event. 💜💜💜
