A couple of the Y.E.Y group busy sorting the local wildlife garden and a litter pick today. So proud of them!!
Good Morning everyone, over the Easter Holidays some of our fantastic Y.E.Y group were out tidying up the wildlife garden and making sure the bug hotel was stocked. Well done you brilliant lot!! It looks amazing!!
We were so lucky with the weather!! The bug houses and hotel are done. They are there for everyone to enjoy and children to add to and investigate. These fantastic children showed brilliant team work. So proud of them!!
They collected two bags of rubbish from the wildlife garden. So at last it is cleaner.
The older ones cleared the path by the school earlier. Well done to you both!! Superstars!! They got soaked in the earlier downpour but that didn't deter them.
We are still on for today at the wildlife garden.
The weather won't stop us!!
Don't forget your rain gear and we will see you there 😁🐦🐦⬛🐌🦋🐛🐜🐝🪲🐞🦗🕷🪳🕸🦟🪰🪱
Hi all,
We have exciting news!! The youngsters have been given the opportunity to look after the wildlife garden. By the bus stop opposite Jewell Academy.
There will be a bug hotel event, where the youngsters can fill the hotel that is in the process of being built. They can also make their own bug houses. There will also be a tidy up of the garden too.
This will be held on SUNDAY 29th OCTOBER from 2-4pm
We look forward to see you there.
Please feel free to bring a drink and a snack. NO NUTS though.

These lovely volunteers did so well and started working on the area outside One Stop. They will get this area looking amazing!!
My little man decided he wanted to do a litter pick this evening from Castledean to the end of Jewell. He is so happy when someone stops to tell him what a "Good job he is doing". Our kids are doing amazing things!!
Can we get some love for these guys? Townsend has become somewhat neglected by BCP over recent years and a great group of kids are taking up the task of cleaning up this little corner of Bournemouth and breathing some much needed new life into it so that people can once again take pride in the community.
Keep up the great work guys ❤️
POSTED BY CHRIS ALLAN FROM ONE STOP ON FACEBOOK.KEEP AT IT GUYS.DONE SO MUCH IN SUCH A SMALL TIME.WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
We are so proud of the group that went out today litter picking. They did amazingly!!
They left the Community Centre, walked down Ibbertson Road and back on the other side.
They had a huge amount of support from people passing by. We also met a lovely man, Richard Moore, from Talk Talk. He was so impressed with the kids and the aim of the group, he bought each of them a large bag of sweets. Thank you again Richard. It was so kind of you.
FIND OF THE DAY.....a random welly boot! Someone hopped home in the rain

Hi all,
We are in the process of dividing the estate into zones. This way an area can be fully concentrated on, on a fortnightly cycle.
We will be posting the main zone to concentrate on. Of course you can always do extra litter picks on the estate if you want to. For example if you are going to the shop and decide to pick up 10 bits of rubbish on the way and 10 on the way back.
The Community Centre has litter pick sticks available when you require them and high vis vests.
We are going to have a reward chart for all the youths in the group. They will be credited whenever they
