We have a stall at Winton Primary School’s Summer Fayre this afternoon, please do pop by and say hi 👋
We have a great line up of external stallholders who will be attending our fayre on Friday. Do pop along to their stalls and see what they have on offer 👍
We also have the fire engine due in from 3pm (please avoid parking down Oswald Close as it is needed for access), inflatable & ride and an ice cream van on the field.
A huge thank you to everyone who has pre ordered tokens - these will be delivered to classrooms on Friday. Thanks to those who have purchased tokens this week after school - there's one more chance tomorrow from 3pm in the playground to purchase before the fayre. There will be a token stall at the fayre but pre purchasing ensures you miss the queue and can start playing the games straight away 😀

Today, the lovely Caz came to Pre-School to talk to the children about Deaf Awareness Week. The children thoroughly enjoyed listening and talking about all kinds of hearing aids, and how we can support deaf people. These conversations continued all afternoon with lots of thought provoking questions being asked. Thank You Caz ❤👂❤

Two year old funding for working families 👨👩👧👦
From April 2024, eligible working parents of two year olds will be able to access up to 15 hours childcare support. Depending on a childcare provider, these hours can be used over 38 weeks of the year or up to 51 weeks if parents / carers use fewer hours per week.
Parents / carers can check eligibility criteria to find out if they can claim on the gov.uk website.
Children become eligible for the extended entitlement from the funding period following their second birthday providing they have a valid eligibility code. All parents / carers must apply for an eligibility code by the end of the month before a new funding period starts.
Parents can sign up, create an account and apply for the eligibility code through the government website in the link below.
