Brackley Players are an Amateur Dramatic Group in Brackley, South Northants. They perform plays, a pantomime and a set of one acts each year.

For those that do not wish to tread the boards help out as front of house, backstage or sound and lighting

The bunting is going up! This can only mean one thing – our production of the comedy whodunit “A Fete Worse Than Death” is fast approaching with opening night at Southfield School tomorrow!

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9am for our next production - a Richard James’ comedy “whodunnit” A Fete Worse Than Death. Performances on Wednesday 29th May, Thursday 30th May and Friday 31st May 2024.

🎉TICKETS NOW ON SALE🎉 we are pleased to announce that we are busily rehearsing to present to you the classic Noel Coward comedy Blithe Spirit from Wednesday 31 May to Friday 2 June 2023 at Southfield Primary Academy in Brackley. A smash hit in the West End and Broadway and a firm favourite with audiences all over, Blithe Spirit sees cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine facing unexpected consequences when he invites the flamboyant medium Madame Arcati to hold a séance in his home. It’s Panto Season ”OH NO IT ISN’T”! 😮(Well, not for Brackley Players this year anyway) Instead, we will be doing a double bill of comedy plays ”OH YES WE ARE” 😀 🎭 If you’d like to be considered for a part (either on or off stage) then come along to the read throughs 📖 on Wednesday 23rd November at 7:30pm at Old Fire Station Community Room 🚒 (that’s on the High Street, next to Brackley Park in the same building as the Old Fire Station Café). Following the read throughs it’s a safe bet that a few of us will head to The Plough for a couple of light refreshments 🍺 🍷 🍹 and you’d be welcome to join us as we’re a rather social bunch 😁
