The club was given its charter in 1973 and is the most southerly club in RIBI District 1070. The Rotary Club of Brackley meets at the The Red Lion (Brackley Market Square), every Thursday evening (except following a Bank Holiday Monday) at 7:30pm for 8:00pm and we are pleased to welcome visiting Rotarians. Please join the Rotary Club of Banbury Cherwell for their Charity Cycle Sportive on Sunday 7th July 2024. All profits go to local Charities. There are 5 exciting rides through the Cotswolds. We start and finish at the beautiful Broughton Castle just outside Banbury. there is the challenging 100 mile Sportive (the Cotswold Monster), 75 miles, (Cotswold Endurance) 50 miles (Cotswold Classic) and 20 miles (Cotswold Tour around North Oxfordshire) and a family fun ride of 5 miles. There are plenty of food stations along the route followed by a meal at the end of the ride. As in previous years the same level of rider support and facilities are included in the registration fee. This represents FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY. All net proceeds will be donated to local and Rotary charities.
