Changes to our woodland area.🌿🌳

A few weeks ago we decided to cover our woodland floor with bark. We had it delivered on a weekend and some of our staff generously came in and gave up there Saturday morning helping move it all and make the woodland area look lovely. We all had a lot of fun doing it but it was a very strenuous job for all involved.
We had some amazing little helpers that tagged along with their parents to come and help us. They put in a lot of hard work and it was greatly appreciated!

We would like to thank all the staff that came to help for putting all your effort into doing it and giving up part of your weekend to do so.

We do this to give the children we care for a great experience when they come to our nursery whether it is nursery, after school club or crownest club. We really hope all children get as much out this as possible as we are a very outdoorsy nursery and you can experience so much outdoors!

👮‍♀️Today we had West Yorkshire Police visit us.👮

They came and spoke to our Little explorers room today (Ages 2 and half - 3 and half) about what they do as a job and how they protect and keep us safe!

They brought some outfits for the children to try on and explorer.

They let the children explore the police van outside, showed them the inside of the police van and let them get in and have a look. The children were very excited to hear all the noises it made.

I think it is safe to say the children (and the staff) had a wonderful time and we would all like to thank you for coming!

With Easter come around thick and fast the shelves are stocked with lots of small eggs.

Did you know that Mini eggs come with a warning that they are a choking hazard?

Mini eggs are just as dangerous as grapes as they are the same size and could get stuck in a child's airway.

It is advised that they are unsuitable for children under 4 years of age!

☃️ Wishing Wells Winter Wonderland ☃️

We would like to share with you all what we were getting up to during December.

We put together our winter wonderland for the children to explore once they had finished nursery for the day. We invited children and their parents to come enjoy some time at the wonderland, we provided mince pies and biscuits.

The children were very excited to see all the decorations, lights and explore with family and friends.

At the end the children went to visit Santa to tell him what they would like for Christmas and received a gift.🎁

We would also like to thank everybody that came and made it so special. It was a lot of work creating this again this year as we expanded into the tree houses where Santa had his grotto and created a gingerbread house.

We also raised a lot of money doing this for the Homeless Not Hopeless Charity, we raised: £260

We have an exciting opportunity to work in our long established nursery, based right in Bingley town centre. Wishing Well is looking for fully qualified Level 3 childcare practitioners with a passion for looking after the welfare and expanding the education of children in a busy, fun and nourishing environment for both staff and children.
This is a permanent post. Full time or part time hours will be considered. No weekends.
As a practitioner you must be able to communicate well and have the ability to complete all necessary paperwork for the EYFS, to be able to put this into practice and to provide a safe, welcoming environment to aid child development and work in partnership with parents.
Staff must be first aid trained which can be completed through the company.
Also you must undertake a fully enhanced DBS which the company will pay for and then sign up to the live service.
