Welcome to The Yard is a very special housewarming shindig - celebrating StreamGM's new home in The Yard Mcr.
Headlined by BBC 6 Music’s newly crowned ‘Artist of the Year’ - indie hip-hop star Antony Szmierek, & supported by The Mayor of Greater Manchester’s Artist of the Month The KTNA, with DJ's Jade Li & Fries With That - this promises to be a night to remember.

Join in this Saturday 21st May for The Hacienda’s 40th Birthday - livestreamed by Stream GM from the basement carpark of The Hacienda Apartments. Taking place in the same location as the hallowed dancefloor itself, the event sees a gallery of The Hacienda’s finest residents come together on the night including from the earliest days of the club: Hewan Clarke and then Graeme Park, Jon Dasilva, Tom Wainwright, DJ Paulette, Aaron Mellor, K Klass who play live, and surprise guests on the night.

All profits from the 8 hour event will go to Legacy Of War Foundation and The Christie charity.♥️

A new stage in the Sentimento Popolare project, a permanent research laboratory for popular songs and sounds of Italy and the southern hemisphere.
After the production of two albums (Sentimento Popolare Vol. 1 in 2018 and Sentimento Popolare Vol. 2 in 2020, both for Felmay Records) characterised by a strong chorality, Camilla Barbarito devotes herself this time to a sound reduced to the essentiality of voice and (electric) guitar with guitarist Fabio Marconi
Once again the musical choices are crucial in defining a personal sonic and poetic universe: starting with a tribute to the maestro Lina Wertmüller, author of Vigliacco Tango with music by composer Muzzi Loffredo a piece composed for the opera 'Amore e magia nella cucina di mamma', the culmination and expressive emblem of the director's imagination (she recently passed away after this filming).
This is followed by the ballad Quante stelle nel cielo con la luna, a diaphanous and ethereal love song by the Umbrian singer-songwriter and important interpreter of Italian folk music Lucilla Galeazzi, .
Tirallì is a musical creation by Camilla Barbarito herself taken from Sentimento popolare Vol.1 inspired by the sounds of Campania's tammurriata and olive harvesting songs from Lucania.
Then, it is the turn of La giava rossa, a song from the early 20th century by Angelo Ramiro Borella that tells a story of the underworld, a bloody affair set in the abominable gargoyles of fictional slums.
Afterwards, it continues with a foray into Portuguese lands with a traditional song from the rural area reworked by the famous singer Dulce Pontes,: Ai Solidom. In the form of a free verse, it invokes the Earth not to eat her beautiful braids when she is buried on the day of her funeral, and the refrain becomes rhythmic and energetically romantic.
The project ends with a flamenco rumba taken from Gritos de Guerra to pay homage to another great master of cinema: Tony Gatlif. Respectfully stealing this gypsy ​song.

The local hosts close in Panicale with a massive DJ Set full of deep techno bass.

Since 2020 DENA has been a member of the international initiative , which works towards gender equality in the music industry.
