New mamas - still a couple of spaces on this wonderful therapeutic 10week course starting on the 3rd July in Hove!
Mother Nurture (previously Mummyshock) Groups - Becoming a mum/birthing-parent for the first time brings big changes to life and has lots of challenges! The group explores how the challenges and changes new mums are facing can feel huge, but are normal. We talk about birth stories, changes in identity, relationships, bonding & attachment, expectations, mental health, support networks and more - helping new mums realise they are not alone.

We are pleased to announce the first group made possible by which will start in Hove on 3rd July.

This course is perfect for first time mums/birthing parents in their first year of motherhood who feel they’d benefit from some support around the mental transition we all go through when we have a baby. We will be talking about lots of different areas of life that change when you become a mum, providing support and guidance from our counsellor trained facilitators, as well as the opportunity to discuss topics with a supportive peer group.

Thanks to the generous folk at Blue Lagoon Warm Water Centres we have a wonderful new venue, and will be meeting on the THIRD Friday of the month to support you with all your baby carrying needs!

We are almost up with our fundraising week for our charity called The Big Give (11-18 Oct). We have until Wed to try and reach a fundraising target of £2,500 for our Mother Nurture groups, and The Big Give will double any donation up to another £2,500, at no extra expense to the donor, enabling us to raise £5,000 of much needed funding.

We're really sorry, but due to sick children we are down in volunteer numbers, and so will be running a reduced service this Friday.



If you have a carrier to return, please DO still return this, ideally as close to the start of the meet as possible.

If you have booked a ticket, please check your email for details of our reduced service.

If you have not booked, please do NOT drop in as we will not have the capacity to help you.

Please also note that this will be our last meet at Phoenix Community Centre; we hope to be back in May in a new venue, details to be announced.

♻️How do you get a preloved jumper?
Come along to one of the swap events. Choose a preloved jumper from my stock and give me a clean festive jumper in exchange.

➡️ Do I want more jumpers?
Yes! If you have surplus jumpers and you do not want any jumpers in return please message me to arrange delivery/collection.
Adults sizes welcome.
Donated jumpers may be kept for swap events in future years or passed to a local school or community group for renting, selling (for fundraising) or their swap events.

🤔 Why?
I’d like to reduce costs and clothing waste for people who would like a differently designed or sized jumper. This should mean less people buy new.

❌ Can I buy or take a jumper
Not this time. I’d love ideas on how to make it possible for people to buy or take jumpers without swapping. This time I’m sticking with swapping only so people always have a swap choice.
Check out The Old Boat Corner Community Association who often have seasonal items to take or rent.
