Line, Tone, Shape and Colour. These are the four pillar of image-making that we'll be exploring during our Printmaking Summer School at the Draw Studio. Our next experimental life drawing session is on Saturday 20th July, taught by Sara Reeve. Our focus for the class will be all about Filling the Frame: Working Largescale with Charcoal

We’ll be spending the session thinking big and seeing how we can use different approaches to breathe new life into our drawings. By zooming in and zooming out, we will be exploring how and where we decide to place the figure on the page. This will be a fun and accessible session designed to help you see things differently and push our drawings into a new source of ideas for future drawings, paintings or prints. We will be using charcoal and working on A1 paper, so please wear clothes that you’re prepared to get messy!
