Final weeks to enjoy our summer drinks menu. As well as the usual popular homemade cold brew and Iced matcha we have our signature coffee based cold drinks. The delicately crafted cold brew spritz made using our house made syrup, our ever favourite espresso tonic and not forgetting what has become our summer staple cereal infused iced latte. Give them a try before they’re gone for another year ✨

Hats off to who managed to take a rare snap of Francesco brewing this super yummy and peachy washed Ethiopian by ‘FLUFFY PEACH’ from Chelbesa washing station. Great on its own and with milk 🍑

Merry Christmas everyone! We’ll be closing earlier today at 3pm and back on Wednesday the 27th 🎄 we have a delicious washed Guatemala from on espresso, Bombe natural on batch and Orange Flirt on hand brew ✨

On espresso this week we have the Guatemala Substance by packed full of rich, sweet and juicy flavour. This carefully fermented natural has a super clean profile with notes of tangerine and demerara but with milk tastes more like banana, caramel and shortbread⁣ ☕️

A small selection of amazing coffees by Belfast based is still available on retail until our next delivery arrives. Our special highlights with this drop has been the limited run of natural Colombia Ombligon produced by , this coffee has been featured by a small number of roasters and was used by Australia’s Jack Simpson at this year’s world barista championships in Athens taking 3rd place. With a fruit forward flavour profile this one is not to be missed! ⁣

2022 has come to an end and we thought we’d mark this with a picture of what you all love the most from us, our sticky cinnamon buns! ⁣

This was the year that after years and years of planning our dreams of owning a small neighbourhood business in Brighton became a reality. ⁣
⁣
To say we were nervous starting this venture would be an understatement but from day one we felt the support of our local community, residents and businesses. We are so happy to have so many regular customers, many have become friends and we love that we managed to create an inclusive space where everyone is welcome for socialising and great conversations whilst enjoying coffee and our cinnamon buns. ⁣
⁣
We have many plans for the year ahead and now that we are lucky to have the wonderful .bedford in our team, we look forward to making a start. We cannot wait to reveal more in time but for now I can say we will be open 7 days a week from next week. ⁣

Thank you to everyone who came along to the coffee tasting hosted by Raw Materials last night. It was great to see so many familiar as well as new faces. We’re open as usual today 8am-5pm but have a quick note about the weekend. This Saturday we will be closed to take part in the Freedom Rally for Iran, as this is something extremely close to our hearts. Sorry to anyone who was planning on coming by this Saturday but we’ll be back open as normal on Sunday. We’ll be going into a bit more detail on why this is important to us on our stories soon.

This month we’re serving Assembly’s house espresso which is a blend of naturally processed Caturra and Catuai microlots from Panamian farm Finca Santa Teresa. Also in from Assembly we have a red bourbon anoxic washed Rwanda that we will be dialling in this morning and serving as filter. If you’d like to know more about “anoxic washed coffee” make sure to come in for a chat and taste it for yourself! ☕️⁣
