Serene and neutral powder room. Or as it is less elegantly referred to in most English homes, 'the downstairs loo'!
Top Tip Tuesday ~ Finding the perfect white...
I feel like I should get a noble prize equivalent for this discovery of mine. Or maybe everyone knows this and I'm just waffling on, like an unneeded recipe for iced water on Pinterest. When trying to find out the undertones of your chosen white, but you're not finding it the easiest thing in the world, take a picture of all swatches next to each other (very important) and turn up the saturation on your phone! You'll see instantly what you're working with! For example, if I was to turn up the saturation on this picture, my business card would go a very bluey white! Fun huh!?
I love seeing wallpaper and paints used in unexpected ways! Excited to get my hands on high enough walls to explore the wonders of a wallpapered ceiling. 😍 Are you a fan of this look?

It's Top Tip Tuesday - a new series that we are taking for a spin!
This week is all about lighting and specifically, lighting decor. How do you know where to start? Fabric, metal, glass? Shades, sconces, accent lighting, task lighting? There's a lot to think about, so let's narrow it down! A room with layered lighting is always going to show off a room it's full potential, so start by thinking about the hero piece of the room - the main light! Once you know what the focal piece of lighting is, all other choices should support it, (but do not necessarily need to match it). Pick a complementary style in an understated design and you'll be creating cohesive lighting choices in no time!

The Role of Colour: Yellow
I feel by looking at the colour yellow, it almost tells you everything you need to know about its use in Interior Design. It's typical association with sunshine, makes a space feel upbeat and energetic. We used yellow throughout to bring inspiration and balance.

I felt very inspired having a little edit of my website this morning, although I'm sure I'm not the first person to think this up! I just love how design really paints a picture of someone; the home is the perfect place to enjoy the present, celebrate the past and plan for the future.
Although it may not be a Flatlay Friday, I wanted to take a minute to appreciate the wonders of a flatlay! When designing your space, it can be helpful to use this service when trying to decide on the story your space is going to tell. Seeing your chosen materials altogether can help see if any textural alterations need to be made, as well as colour and pattern. I love seeing elements of a design come together in three dimension; it's an essential step into seeing how the end result will feel and look!
Hi everyone! Currently playing around with a few console table stylings and having the best time! Who would like to start seeing some Interior Design how-tos!? Here's a totally unrelated photo of me and my best pal, CEO of Snuggles Ltd.
Just incase you weren't sure, marble is making a biiiig comeback! Think heavily veined slabs, creating striking contrasts. I am definitely here for it!

Our headboard is complete! (and definitely hasn't been sat in the garage waiting to be finished for nearly a year...) This herringbone headboard was stained, white washed and waxed to create an ashy reclaimed effect, perfect for our boho vintage master bedroom. What do you think!?
✨ Top Tip Tuesday ✨
I've been trawling FB Marketplace with a fine tooth comb looking for a pot this size! Did you know, if you prime, paint and (bear with me here) rub mud on your painted pot it will add instant rustic and vintage character. I'm in love with the look!

Happy Sunday! Having just completed a Dining Area Moodboard, I thought I would share a big interior tip when it comes to choosing furniture! Like in this fabulous space featured in , mix up your materials! If you have thin metal legs on your dining table, opt for opposing textures, colours and weight on the chairs. Matching furniture sets can make a room look claustrophobic and after all, juxtaposition is what keeps things fresh and interesting!

The Main bedroom Moodboard for a soon-to-be Airbnb is complete! A modern edge, playing off of black, gold and white. Added textures create a more luxurious feel, whatever the budget! What do you think?
