Final workshop today. Presentation and prize giving.

Monday, back to workshop. Questions and discussions. Not sure if we have collected enough data. The group meeting continued in hotel lobby.

Shopping at golden computer centre, visiting RunRun Shaw Creative Media Centre, followed by a junk boat trip. what a day!

Research-in-progress presents at Hong Kong Design Institution.

After a good rest, we started our first working day. We went to Hong Kong Design Institution. Seven teams have been formed for a Design probe project.

Arrived Hong Kong after 18 hours journey. The first meal was Japanese food. Very delicious but portion is quite small. We have mastered how to use chopsticks.

CodeWest is a digital studio based in the Foundry where students can gain experience on app and web projects while being paid. CodeWest is seeking people for the following roles this term:

1. Project/product manager (urgent!): A highly organised individual to ensure delivery of projects, motivate teams and liaise with clients. Must be self-motivated, proactive and delivery-driven.
2. UX designer: To improve the usability of designs on a variety of projects and to undertake iterative testing of products with clients.
3. Web API developer (urgent!) : Python (Flask, Django), PostgreSQL and REST. Experience in any of these a bonus, but other coding experience / interest will be considered.
4. Front end developer: JavaScript (Node, Express, React or Angular), HTML/CSS

You will be able to work around study commitments, but must be able to find a regular chunk of time for project work. There will be opportunities into the summer for effective individuals.
