If you haven't visited yet, you need to! This local gem offers high-quality traditional Italian cuisine and the best handmade pasta. The incredible head chef Alberto from Busca, Cuneo, puts his heart and soul into every dish, and it shows. The restaurant is always bustling, and it's heart warming to see an independent business thriving in these times. 💚

Plus, we're proud to help them reuse and rejuvenate their existing chairs, keeping a big pile out of the landfill. 🌍✨

🌟 We love this stunning antique armchair upholstered in Linwood's Velvet Omega III range in the colour Maize. This deep, rich yellow shade, reminiscent of the colour mustard but with an unparalleled depth, perfectly complements our client's slate blue walls. The harmonious contrast between the two rich hues creates an ambiance that's both eye-catching and soothing.

The worn arms have been sanded and varnished to perfectly match the colour of the legs. The traditional upholstery has been boosted, giving the chair a plump appearance and luxurious comfort.

Our client’s choice of Omega III velvet reflects their commitment to sustainability. Linwood's eco-friendly velvet is crafted from recycled plastic bottles, merging luxury with environmental responsibility.

🌟New Restaurant in Beer, Devon!🌟

We'd like to share one of our latest projects at Steamers Restaurant in Beer, Devon - a picturesque fishing village on the Jurassic Coast.

This historic building, formerly a steam bakery, is now under new ownership and will soon be reopening its doors after several years.

Our team has upholstered three sets of banquette seating in a vibrant burnt orange vinyl, creating a warm and inviting environment. The colour of the seating is complemented by the deep teal tiling on the walls and matches well with the exposed brickwork and lighting. We can’t wait to see it when the tables and chairs are in and they’re bustling with cheerful customers!

We had the pleasure of meeting Jess, the new owner, whose extensive experience in the restaurant industry is sure to make a success. The restaurant's chef, who was preparing exceptional dishes whilst we were there, mentioned that Lyme Bay offers some of the best fish in the world.

✨A Timeless Contemporary – The Marenco Sofa ✨

Designed by Mario Marenco for Arflex in 1970, its iconic design is still considered a must have in cotemporary furniture. It's unmistakable soft, cloud like cushions epitomise the allure of the 1970's era but 5 decades on and it still leads the way in terms of experimentation.

But it's true beauty lies in its innovative modular design. Making use of separate padding and covers allows the sofa to remain invitingly plump, whilst the turbular metal frame provides shape and durability.

We absolutely love this design, it’s completely unique and suitable for a variety of different spaces. ✨

Gather – A New Coffee Shop on Park Street Bristol! ☕🌿

Check out one of our latest projects nestled in the vibrant heart of Park Street, Bristol. A bespoke coffee shop selling the most amazing coffee, delicious pastries and Scandinavian inspired food.

In collaboration with Alteriors Design and Build, we've upholstered their banquette seating in Camira Main Line Flax. An earthy, fresh fabric made from 100% natural fibres, perfectly suited to this bright and airy space.

The interior design at Gather exudes an air of harmonious calm, accentuating the lofty ceilings and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light. The stunning walnut counter with a pine green marble top acts as a stunning centre piece, complemented by additional seating throughout the space.

It has been such a pleasure to work with Alteriors Design and Build, thank you for bringing us on board this lovely project.

Located on Whiteladies Road in Bristol, Condesa's vibrant Mexican-inspired cuisine is spectacular! Cooked over charcoal, paired with tantalizing mezcal and tequila cocktails, this new restaurant is set to be the next go-to spot in Bristol.

We had the pleasure of upholstering the seating in Condesa with the most exquisite soft leather - perfectly suited to this cosy, candlelit space.

We're really excited to see Condesa flourish and become a beloved destination for foodies and cocktail enthusiasts alike.

🌟After 11 incredible years at our shop in Old Market, Bristol, we are excited to have moved to a new premises. As we continue to evolve and expand our focus into more commercial ventures, we've made the decision to move our business to a new location. Our new work place offers us the space and resources needed for this new chapter.

Countless wooden chairs poured out, frozen yet energetic, creating a surreal scene that captured the essence of chaos and precision. The installation, titled Nest, showcased the beauty of salvaged furniture in poetic compositions.

This image expresses so powerfully the importance of furniture reuse, a topic high on the agenda in the design world. It’s also is a passion of ours at Ebony Rose Upholstery - transforming perfectly good furniture into something beautiful is an art in itself.

🌟 We were delighted to re-upholster the banquette seating for the reception and games room at The Collective, Canary Wharf. A large co-living space, featuring stylish studio rooms, a spa, a business centre and much more!

🌟 Intricate geometric patterns are created adding depth, texture and visual interest to your space.

🌟 Button tufting provides an extra layer of comfort to your seating by gently compressing the padding. It can also help with the distortion or wrinkling of broader fabric sections caused by regular use.

🌟 Indiana's General Electric campus, a historic epicenter since 1883, has undergone a revolutionary transformation led by CannonDesign. We love the result; Electric Works, spans 39 acres, an industrial complex featuring flexible work spaces, event space, and expansive conference rooms.

Sustainability At The Heart Of The Design:
🌱 The environmental impact is reduced by preserving the existing architecture, the space has been hardly painted and no cladding was used.
🌱 Exposed concrete and brick walls dominate throughout, balanced beautifully by the pops of bold colour in the furniture and eclectic murals.
🌱 Tables were built from the trees removed during construction, thoughtfully bringing a new lease of life to this natural resource.
🌱 Retrofitting alone saved an estimated 28,000 metric tons of carbon emissions, the equivalent to what it takes to power 3,500+ homes for one year.

👏 We are really inspired to see how sustainable design can be so powerful, with clever use of lighting and vibrant local art this is testament to design excellence and innovation!

🌟 Celebrating the Art of Bespoke Carpentry

🌟 Crafted with passion and precision by the 'Ribbon' Armchair is a tribute to mid-century design and the timeless elegance of American black walnut.

🌟 The continuous 'ribbon' seamlessly forms the front legs, armrests, and back support. All the components were meticulously cut and shaped from the same walnut board, with the joints seamlessly flushed in. The result is a stunning piece that appears to be one interconnecting piece.

🌟 We were really happy to upholster the cushions in wool by Warwick and absolutely love the contrast between the deep walnut brown and the steely grey blue of the wool. A blend of warmth and modernity and a testament to the beauty of bespoke carpentry.

🌟 Restoring Elegance: A 17th Century Chair

🌟 This chair, a witness to centuries of history, was entrusted to us for restoration. We were thrilled to restore it, to honor its heritage and revive its timeless elegance.

🌟 Traditional Upholstery: The chair was traditionally reupholstered with horsehair, paying homage to the authentic craftsmanship of the past. It’s rare to find a chair from this period in such good condition and every step was meticulously executed.

🌟 Embroidery Restoration: The embroidered panels were carefully removed and treated with the utmost care. The fabric was washed, and hand-stitched onto calico to strengthen the embroidery. Patches throughout the embroidery were meticulously repaired with delicate hand stitching to ensure every pattern matched.

🌟 Woodworm Treatment: Prior to restoration, the chair underwent a thorough treatment for woodworm, preserving its structural integrity.

🌟 A Testament to Tradition: Not a single staple was used in this restoration. Our customer's wish for a traditionally restored chair was our guiding principle.

🌟 Inspiration: May this project inspire you to appreciate the artistry of traditional craftsmanship and the beauty of preserving history through restoration.

🌿 At Ebony Rose Upholstery, we’re proud to partner with Linwood fabrics who are striving to reduce their carbon footprint. With a focus on natural eco- friendly fibres and developing recycled fabrics from the fashion industry, these fabrics are right on trend!

🌿 From recycled cottons to locally sourced wool, natural linens to recycled leather, they’ve got it all covered!

🌿 A particular favourite of ours is the Omega III range. With 75 colours, this plain sumptuous velvet is made up of 60% recycled polyester – a wonderful way to reduce plastic waste!

🌿 The velvet is also stain resistant and extremely durable, making it even more environmentally friendly.

🌿 Linwood are also planning to convert Omega I and II ranges into the new eco cloth too, soon there will be even more colours to choose from!

🌿 We have been using Linwood’s Omega velvets for at least 10 years and can guarantee the Omega III range has maintained it’s natural cotton and extremely luxurious feel. A win win for the eco conscious mind 😊
