Our L-dormer project is underway! 🛠️
As architects, there's nothing more exciting than seeing a vision come to life. The construction of our L-dormer kicked off recently, to completely transform this family home. The design is all about maximising space, light, and functionality—and we can't wait to see it unfold.

Pleased to see one of our smaller commissions coming to a successful completion. The renovation of a semi-detached house in Kingsdown, Deal, including the replacement of a dilapidated extension anew. Those bifolds are quite something.

We are excited to announce our latest commission: the complete renovation and expansion of a charming, yet forgotten Victorian property. From inception to completion, we aim to revitalise this historic building, revealing its original flintwork facade and creating an open, fresh interior. Our design will include period-appropriate pathways and feature trees for the gardens, with playful brickwork terraces and optimised internal arrangements. Stay tuned for updates 👌
We are excited to be holding a workshop at this year's UK Creative Festival at Dreamland, Margate. We will be inspiring the young creatives of tomorrow, leading a 'maquette workshop' to widen imaginations through crafting architectural models and having fun in the process!

A fun illustration we produced for a new project bid, expanding the infrastructure of a mediaeval reenactment society.
Traditional construction and craft methods are used throughout for off-grid life, including a forge using manually powered bellows, a cookhouse with tanning rack, a wooden pallisade with moat and watchtowers, and even a Longhall for gathering.
Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day. We remember the sacrifices made by those brave men and women, to whom we owe so much.
Let us never forget the price of our freedom and the selfless bravery of those who fought for it.

Following a fruitful pre-application advice process with the TDC Planning Authority, we are thrilled to be moving forward with the extension and renovation of a charming, yet dilapidated, early 20th-century property in the prestigious Westgate-on-Sea Conservation Area.
This transformation will bring new life to this grand building, converting it into high-end apartments for contemporary living.

Lovely day for a survey 😎🌞
Chalk cliffs on the way to Dumpton Gap, scattered with yellow wildflowers and hardy coastal plants
Two concept sketches with a different perspective, working with the existing structure as best as possible to cut costs. Through volumetric orientation towards the garden and sun-path, this home can be transformed. Offering views from front to back, and side to side, the large garden and mature trees are brought into view from the inner areas of the house, improving natural lighting + physical connections to the exterior.

Happy Friday from Louisa Bay!
An eye opening site visit today on one of our Margate projects. As the lime plaster dries to the internal walls of this listed building renovation, solid oak mantels and exposed red clay brickwork add to the age appropriate aesthetic. Traditional materials and techniques are what will make this project a success and we're mighty excited to see it unfold.
