Wrapping up our working holiday in Thailand 😜

It wasn't just about beach days and cocktails 🏖️ 🍹 from the super chilled beaches of Koh Lanta to the vibrant streets of Bangkok, we immersed ourselves in continuing our learning of Thai street food 🍜 😋

Big thanks to all the wonderful people who shared their knowledge and hospitality with us 🇹🇭🙏🙏

🌟 We stumbled upon Sao's charming roadside Pad Thai stall as we were craving some authentic affordable Thai street food, little did we know, we were in for a treat! 🍜

Her small family run operation is a well oiled machine – Sao orchestrating the kitchen, her husband taking orders, and their son swiftly delivering mouth-watering dishes 😋

We couldn't resist returning the next day for more deliciousness and a special request: to learn from Sao herself! 👩‍🍳✨

Her meticulous attention to cleanliness and organisation were second to none and the flavours she crafted were simple and unforgettable – especially her secret tamarind paste that elevated her Pad Thai to new heights! 🤫 Even the milder dishes burst with authentic Thai taste 🌶️ 🫚🇹🇭

It was an unforgettable evening, learning from the lovely Sao. Stay tuned, as we can't wait to bring some of these delights to our menu this year! 🎉

We are sad to announce that after a wonderful three years trading at we have made the difficult decision to leave at the end of this month!

The wedding feast began with a sharing platter of our favourite canapés and a selection of bao buns, followed by our tasty Vietnamese curries served with all the garnishes 🍛 😋

To finish the evening off and as a late night snack the banh mi made its grand appearance for those still hungry after an evening on the dance floor! 🥖 🥖🌶️🌶️
