Our favourite time of the year is when you can still get vesuvio tomatoes and the beginning of delica season. It seems fitting that on our last week in Peckham both of these amazing produce are available. We’ll be putting these delicious delica dumplings back on our menus from TOMORROW, so grab the last few tables for our last 6 nights of service!

Umeboshi was one of the many delights that we had whilst on our honeymoon in Japan, whether in convenience store onigiri, cocktails or any of the other myriad ways we saw it, we tried and tested as much as we could. These Reine Claude plums from are a perfect substitute for typical Japanese ume, their almost apricot like flavour and unique sweetness lends itself toward the sour tartness of umeboshi.
As I write this it occurs to me that they take 3 weeks to make which means they’re unlikely to appear on any menu we serve in Peckham. We’re hoping to have an update for you all soon but until then we promise to serve you other delights up to 20th September, our final night in Peckham.

*NEW* on this week: Buttered corn ice cream, toffee sauce, popcorn.
These baby sweetcorn are incredible. We source them from Ipswich and Lancashire through , they are immensely sweet with a highly concentrated flavour. We grill them whole, husks and stems, then infuse and double cream before churning into a wonderful naturally sweet ice cream, served with toffee sauce and popcorn, one of our best desserts, one of the last we’ll be serving in Peckham, get it while you still can!

Datterini tomatoes, labneh, loveage oil.

This dish looks simple but takes days to make, we brine the datterini tomatoes for 2 days before dehydrating them slightly as well as reducing the brine back to crystal form (creating tomato msg, used to season the dish). These tomatoes are sat on top of a soy labneh and drizzled with lovage oil, topped with dehydrated tomato skin and basil. On our current menu for a limited time! Bringing these beauties back in time for the warmer weather. Oyster mushroom skewers with char siu glaze, enjoyed either individually a la carte style or as part of our sharing ‘All-in’ set menu. We are FULL this Friday but book ahead for Saturday. Limited seats available outside! 🍺

The time has come to let you all know something we’ve been sitting on for a couple of months now. Our time in Peckham Rye is coming to an end. It’s been an incredible 3 years and one hell of a ride, but with our landlord increasing the rent it’s no longer viable for us to be in this spot.

We don’t have an exact date for our last service here yet, but it’ll be sometime in late September. We’re currently looking for a new space as we are not closing down - we are just moving from this premises - we promise to keep everyone up to date when we have more exciting news to give.

To celebrate the end of this era we’re going to be bringing back some old favourites over the next couple of months, so if there’s anything you want to taste again then let us know! Think corn ribs, sliders, maybe even the teriyaki broccoli…

In the meantime, thank you for everyone who has supported us this far, we love you all and we’re looking forward to celebrating with you over the last couple of months in Peckham!

Well holy s**t! 3 years ago we opened our doors for the very first time. In that time we’ve served over 400 different dishes alongside countless cocktails and wines. We’ve hosted pop ups, wine tastings and even an art show. In that time we’ve developed relationships from customers, to regulars to friends and it’s been a real honour to meet so many wonderful people through doing what we love. At times it’s been easy and sometimes it’s been impossibly hard but each day we get out of bed still wanting to go to work. We love what we do but most importantly we love who we work with. We’d like to take this moment to thank all the amazing people who have worked at Omni over the past 3 years, you’ve helped us through the hard times and been with us for the good. Another huge thank you to everyone who has ever eaten at Omni and supported us in anyway, it really means everything to us.

Our new menu has launched this week & it’s great to be welcoming in some delicious Spring produce. Featured here is our spring salad with a dashi reduction, alongside fresh tagliatelle with tofu cream & shiitake crumb, from the recipe we demonstrated at the Ideal Homeshow last month. Lastly we have charred leeks with puffed rice furikake & miso aioli.

Our ‘all-in’ 10 plate set menu can be enjoyed at any time during our usual opening hours.

🚨 PSA 🚨 with the ongoing cost of living crisis we want to help people out in the only way we know how: by making it possible for everyone to be able to eat out. So, from next week, we will be reducing the price of our ‘All-in’ set menu from £40ph to £30ph when enjoyed with a drink. We want good food to be accessible to more people & we aim for the price reduction to help locals enjoy a good meal out with seasonal produce! Happy 2024! We’re kicking off with good news & new menus. From THIS Sunday 7th we’ll be opening our doors for fully Sunday roasts between 12pm-5pm. Spaces are limited so we’ll be taking bookings in advance only with a couple of extras for last minute walk-ins. Book via our website. Come & join us for Beaujolais Nouveau day! We're thrilled to announce that the Modest Merchant will be joining us on November 16th to celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau day.

The evening will showcase different wines from Beaujolais by Jack from Modest, alongside French inspired snacks to pair by us.

Retail price wine & small plates will also be available to enjoy in after the tasting or to takeaway.

Spaces are limited - Early Bird tickets can be purchased for £25 in advance until Friday 27th or £30 after that.

We don’t think we know anyone that would describe turnips as their favourite veg. However these Hinina Kabu turnips are a popular variety in Japan, we get ours from Great Fen, a farm in Hampshire, they’re particularly sweet and peppery, served with 3 day fermented mushrooms and buttered panko this might be a dark horse for our favourite dish on the menu

A close up of some of our September dishes, featuring our take on Panisse, another Marseille inspired dish. Using chickpea flour these golden bars sit on saffron-aioli & are topped with a dashi braised onion jam. Available on our set menus & a la carte style, open as usual from 5pm this evening!
