Meal planning and prepping has helped with making healthier choices and portion control.
Our group has also provided them with a support system to help stay consistent and motivate each other 👏

From this week I’m setting myself up to ‘Take a walk, not the car'.
When I passed my driving test I said I’d never be one of those people that jump in the car to go round the corner to the shop!!! how wrong was I 🤔
I like going for walks but when I think I’ve just got to nip here or there I jump in the car!
We all know hopping in the car to get somewhere, even just around the corner, is part and parcel of daily routine.
But here’s a few small changes that can help towards your daily activity and steps💭
If you have to use the car, park it further away (different street, furthest spot in the car park) and walk the extra distance.🚶♀️
If taking a bus, get on or off a stop later than usual.🚏
Walk to the local shop and carry your shopping back🛍
Take a walk, take a friend.👟
Don’t use lifts or escalators - take the stairs instead!🚶
Even if you cannot do this every day, making the occasional change can add less sitting and more moving to our daily routine which also helps to improve your physical and mental health.❤️
A year today since I passed my practical assessment!
The cold and wet weather didn’t stop this pair getting up and out this morning.
