Just like education providers are inspected and graded by OFSTED, all care providers are obligated to meet set standards on which they are assessed.

The governing body for care providers is CQC, and when looking for services, we highly recommend you check any potential provider on the CQC website.

Last assessed in 2022, and reviewed in 2023, Bury Home Care is very proud to have met all criteria required to be considered a 'GOOD' care provider.

This coming Tuesday, the Goat's Gate Whitefield will welcome Ukybobs Ukelele Group to their 'Get Together Club', a meet up for those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia, and their carers.

As a community care assistant for Bury Home Care you will bring independence back to people in the community, supporting them in many areas of everyday life.

The job will consist of:

*driving to each client’s house on a specific run within the local community

*having a chat with a client, learning about their needs and interests

*preparing meals for clients

*helping with personal care i.e. washing, using the toilet and assisting with dressing

*supporting clients in taking medication

*helping clients make shopping lists and sometimes shopping for them

*being attentive to changes in needs and condition

*documenting everything that has happened during the call

*liaising with your team leader and staff in the office

Bury Home Care holds care close to its heart, so we always ensure staff have:

*one to one time with management

*dedicated on-call to support staff and clients

Person Specification:

*Car user essential

*Must have a passion for supporting vulnerable adults

*Must be passionate about working as part of a professional team and supporting colleagues as well as clients
