Our monthly draw takes place on the last day of each month. This year we have used the money raised to fund our coaches to attend core courses to make our training sessions even better for our juniors and seniors. £5 per entry, please support our section to grow. Thanks.

Weekend preview
It's a big night tonight as our flourishing junior section takes a moment to reflect on the season just gone and hand out a lot of well-deserved prizes! Well done to the coaches, parents and our fantastic players and everyone who has assisted to get junior cricket played at Walshaw Sports Club. We'll see you there from 7pm.
On Saturday our first team have their penultimate match of the season at Bradshaw Cricket Club hoping to pick up more than those 2 points that will ensure safety and a return to Premier 2 next season. Our seconds will want to finish off their season in the best way possible when they host East Lancs Paper Mill CC. Both matches start at 12pm.
On Sunday our thirds play at home to Edenfield Cricket Club who are still in with a chance of winning the division. Our fourths make the trip to Radcliffe Cricket Club to finish their season. Both 1pm starts.
Bar open, TheHatch Walshaw serving food so please join us.

Weekend preview
It looks like the cricket weather will continue this weekend and all four of our senior men's teams are in action.
On Saturday our first team have their final home match of the season hoping to follow up the brilliantly tense 1 wicket win last week when we host Stand Cricket Club. Our seconds have a short trip for a local derby at Edgworth Cricket & Recreation Club also hoping for back to back wins. Both matches start at 12pm.
On Sunday our thirds are playing at Darcy Lever while our fourth team play their final home match when they host Heaton Sports & Cricket Club. Both start at 1pm.
As usual the bar will be open at Walshaw Sports Club with food available from TheHatch Walshaw. Nowhere better to be in the sunshine!

This weekend's nearly here and weather is warming up!
Friday night is the last junior and ladies training session of the year starting at 6pm at Walshaw Sports Club.
On Saturday the games are crucial as the season draws to an end. Our first team have a trip to Brooksbottom Cricket Club on Saturday while our second team host Royton Cricket Club - Cricket, Bowling & Running. As we're in September start times have been brought forward to 12pm.
On Sunday it's a double header for our firsts when they host Monton also at 12pm. Our thirds visit Astley Bridge Cricket Club at 1pm.
Plenty going on at the club with the bar serving and food from The Hatch.

Weekend preview
It's a Bank Holiday weekend and there's lots to keep you entertained at Walshaw Sports Club.
As ever we start off with junior and ladies training on Friday evening at 6pm.
On Saturday our first team are at home to Astley and Tyldesley in another important league match. Our seconds make the trip to Stand Cricket Club looking to back up last week's win. Both start 12:30pm.
On Sunday our fourth team start early at Edgworth Cricket & Recreation Club at 10:30am because the main event of the day is our Geoff Ormerod day featuring a Junior Colmaine Cup and lots of fun for all the family.
The bar is open, The Hatch will be serving delicious food and there's plenty of sport on TV during the weekend.

As we prepare for tonight's junior and ladies training and a big weekend of sport let's look forward to a full set of senior fixtures which will hopefully not be affected by the weather.
On Saturday our first team are at home hoping to bounce back with a win against Moorside. Our seconds are still in with a chance at the top of the table and will be looking for a win at Heywood Cricket Club. Both matches due to start at 12:30pm.
On Sunday, after we've cheered on the Lionesses, our third team have a short trip to Woodbank Cricket Club while our fourth team host Elton All Saints Cricket Club. Both due to start at 2pm.
Walshaw Sports Club will be showing all the big matches and The Hatch will be serving delicious food.
