What a great days sailing at Elton SC in the last of this years Senior Travellers series.
Strong gusty winds made for an exciting days racing. Well done to all participants.

Tomorrow is the second weekend of the March working parties.
There is still plenty of work to do, so it would be good to see lots of members down for an hour or two tomorrow or Sunday to enjoy the fresh air and do a few jobs.

DISCOVER SAILING AT ELTON SAILING CLUB
Are you looking for a new way to get outdoors and active or find something you can enjoy together with the family? If the answer is yes, Elton Sailing Club in Bury is inviting you and your family to come and try sailing for free on the following dates:
Thursday 14th April 11am -3pm
Saturday 7th May 11am-3pm
Thursday 19th May 4pm-7pm
Whether you’re completely new to the sport or looking to get back on the water, RYA Discover Sailing is the perfect time to give it a go.
On the 2 days and 1 evening above Elton Sailing Club will be offering free ‘tater sessions’ to adults and families. All you’ll need is some clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting wet, a towel and dry clothing to change into afterwards.

Sailing can be as physical or as relaxing as you want to make it, you can sail with others or on your own, do it competitively or potter about and just enjoy the gentle escape of being outside in the elements.

£5 entry fee for non members
Snowflake Winter Series
Sundays between 9th January 2022 and Sunday 27th February inclusive
Open series 2 races per day in January and 3 races per day in February are scheduled
First race 1200 hrs
Entry fee non members - £20 for series

We are an RYA Training Centre with several RYA qualified Instructors to teach sailing and power boating.
Established in 1885, we have a rich history of producing some fantastic sailing talent that have won many championships and regattas. Even producing an Olympian.
