Mohamed Aziz, a 72-year-old bookseller, living in Rabat, Morocco, spends 6 to 8 hours a day reading books. Having read over 5000 books in French, Arabic, and English, he remains the oldest bookseller in Rabat, spending more than 43 years in the same location. When asked about leaving his books unattended outside, where they could potentially be stolen, he responded that those who can't read don't steal books, and those who can, aren't thieves.

We are very sorry to hear that Becca Moriarty of League of Extraordinary Cosplayers and guest of CamCon 2013 has sadly passed away. Becca was a wonderful person. Kind, talented, selfless and a fantastic addition to the cosplay and geek community. To hear of this is tragic and our hearts are with Becca's family and friends during this period. May she rest in piece and her legacy live on. We will never forget you Becca. You will always be alive in our hearts.

Ok guys. Its been a year, things have changed and I've done a lot of thinking and now its finally time to say this. I regret to inform everyone that I no longer wish to run CamCon anymore. As much as it breaks my heart to say this as running this event in its three year existence has truly been one of the biggest achievements of my life and I thank everyone who has made it possible to do so, I feel now is the time to move on as now I have moved away from cambridge and will no longer reside in the city in either a family or personal context, running CamCon with ease would be too difficult. I also having moved out of my house and having two jobs feel that CamCon is no longer a project I can commit to either finically or practically. I will keep this page open in the event's legacy and if anyone wants to take over the event (though bare in mind that you will have to start the event again from scratch) please feel free to do so. We started something amazing and I am overwhelmed to have worked with such amazing people, made so many new friends and bought something unique to Cambridge but now its time for me to move on and focus on other areas of my life. Before I close thank you again for making my dreams come true and I will never forget these three amazing years and all the magic that has been created by this event. One last time long live Camcon and from me long live the magic of you all. Ziggy x
Today is the day. We would have run on this very date. Happy CamCon day! :D What will you do to celebrate this day? We hope you keep up the cosplaying and share all your cosplay ideas with us. Onwards and upwards for CamCon 2016
This weekend marks the space where CamCon would have run this year. As sad as it was to make the decision not to run this year we hope to be back next year better than ever. To celebrate this saturday's mark of anniversary, post your favourite memory from our past CamCons and why you'd love us to come back next year.

Hey guys what have you been up to in this gap year? Let us know your geeky stories :D
Ok guys. Due to the demand of a two day event and the funding and man power needed to provide you with the smoothest and most enjoyable event possible CamCon will be taking a hiatus this year. Rest assured we aim to be back in 2016 but in the short space of time it would be impossible to provide you with the highest quality of show we always aim for. Don't worry though there are plenty of other events to enjoy in the meantime and we will be back soon. We hope you have some wonderful stories of this "gap year" we're taking so how about you share your 2015 plans with us here :) Thanks Ziggy
I'm sorry to say we may have some bad news but restassured it is only temporary
Wooo! Now that the new year has just begun and soon the holidays will be over and we will be trucking along towards summer and beyond in no time.
We realize that we have been doing quiet abit of time filling and posting GUFF here but I hope you like our GUFF because soon we should be able to start making minor announcements and we can get this hype train rolling!
I hope you are all excited because we sure are!
From Camcon we wish you all Happy holidays, Merry Christmas, Hearth's Warming or whatever you choose to do with your time away from it all~
Here's to you all who make up the proud geek community!
Hello all you anime fans, gamers and general geeks!
We have planning next year eagerly and will be taking in all the feedback we got and putting it to practical use! So watch this space because announcements will be coming more and more as we come closer to our next event!
