Student from Oxford university is looking for participants for their research!! Details below!

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: As part of a DPhil Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics thesis study at the University of Oxford, I am looking for a preexisting friend/social group of exclusively cisgender gay male participants aged 18–23 to record themselves having conversations in a group setting (in English). These conversations can be about any topics that you like. Recording equipment will be provided, and all participants will be reimbursed for their participation (a £15 Amazon gift voucher per participant!). Transgender day of remembrance is a day to honour the lives of trans folk that have been lost due to acts of anti transgender violence. On Sunday the Cambridge Diamonds group will be commencing a reading of the names of the trans folk who have lost their lives to acts of violence 🤍

Part one of 'After Hallows' will have us watching a horror movie that will be voted for by you! We will be providing some light snacks for the evening - but feel free to bring your own (non-alcoholic) drinks! This will be a free event and we will send out an email with the room number closer to the day. So make sure you're signed up to the society!

We will be rising from the dead and heading back to Six Six for their Rebel Rebel Halloween event! Miss Demeanour will be back on the decks, and there will be drag acts from Max Legroom, Justa Knight, and Queenie B! And make sure you're dressed at your worst as you can win a number of prizes. Including the new book 'Fleshed Out' by Q***r Author and director Rob Ulitski and free entry to their next event!
Entry is £3 on the door with your student ID, £5 in advance or £7 on the door without your id!
