I will be exhibiting some of my work in Ramsgate this month at the Turner Rowe Art Centre. The private view event is on Friday 12th March. I will be there so come pop in for a drink and a chat while you browse some beautiful art.

Jo does beautiful glasswork, Beverley does such detailed and beautiful animal watercolour paintings and I will have my colourful seascapes on display.

"EVENING GLOW"

This is my newest piece. I rarely use silver leaf, but for this one...
it just made sense.

Look at how those waves shimmer🤩

For this painting, I really wanted to add more depth and dimension in the waves and a soft, dreamy sky.

This painting will be part of my collection of oil and coldwax paintings. They will be on display and available for sale for the month of April at the Eclectic Gallery in Margate.

This past weekend I was really struggling with getting to a place where I was happy with the composition of this piece.I tried everything to move past the creative block. I even got stuck in with my hands and created a huge mess.

I am not sure I even liked the end product and it still needs a lot of work, but I enjoyed the process and getting messy.

That has to count for something right?

Just a little doodle and dabble this weekend with some shapes, colours and of course my first introduction to oil pastels. I have been wanting to explore this style for a while, it's so freeing and fun...I have had sooo much inspiration from just this one little doodle. So many ideas...so many possibilities....isnt art just incredible? I am so blessed that I have found something I truly love ❤️.

It's just been added to the reserve collection at my Under the Rainbow events exhibition at Blue Water shopping centre.

It has been mounted and framed and is ready to hang measuring roughly 17 x 17 inches.
