Dan Morgan Artist
My name is Dan Morgan Cox, I am an illustrator and animator from Kent
Inspired by Irish drinking songs to create these 💃
Made a love-heart teddy bear and a bouquet of roses for my girlfriend for valentine's ❤️
Completely forgot to upload this, but here's the finished raccoon for my girlfriend in all his glory! I'm thinking about writing the pattern up and putting it up on my Etsy, comment below what you think!
Hedgehog cactus, available on my Etsy as a card or print!
hedgehog
New product alert! ✨
This bag is up for sale on my Etsy! I've also created a pattern which you can get so you can create it yourself, also available on my Etsy!
Little raccoon amigurumi for my girlfriend!
I ran out of time to do the ears but I think he's really cute! It was also my first time making amigurumi in a while and I remembered how much I hate sewing it all together 😫
Some mermaid-scale gloves I crocheted for my best friend. They live in Scotland so hopefully these will keep them warm!
Pattern is "dragon scale gloves" by and the wool is Hayfield Spirit Sundown
Robin redbreast cross-stitch for my lovely godmother
With Christmas sadly over I can now share the presents I made!
This is a Bunny Ragdoll I made for my mum, using the pattern by using Hayfield Spirit in Melody!
Prompt 12. Spicy
Tried the dot technique for shading, I think it looks really cool but it took so bloody long 😂 also no, I don't know what happened to my signature, my brain seemed to stop processing halfway through 😂
Prompt 11. Wander
I made another watercolour painting, this time a dairy calf standing in a meadow! Available on my Etsy shop as prints or cards if you're interested :)
Day 10. Fortune
Anyone else find Zoltar really creepy in Big? 😂
Day 9. Bounce
Magic Toad!
Merging some of the inktober prompts as I'm very very behind 😂
Day 7. Drip
Made with fineliner and Indian ink
Day 6. Golden
Very much need to work on my fineliner portrait skills! This doesn't look anything like I envisioned in my head!
*t
I know this place like the back of my hand...
Day 5. Map
Definitely a very sketchy piece as I'm knackered from a very long day yesterday, but I still wanted to draw something fun! The sweet names were a spur of the moment decision when I was trying to choose a name for the marshland area.
Day 4. Dodge
Made with Indian ink, gouache, fine liner and a water pen
Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds the way that Frodo falls when the eye is on him really funny 😂
Well I think we've all learnt that I suck at the drawing once a day aspect 😂 I've been very busy recently, so I think I'll still do the prompts but not try to rush them in my free time, so it might run into November too!
Anyway, here's day 3's prompt, "path", drawn with a fineliner and water brush pen. I also made a new sketchbook with the pages from a sketchpad I was using as it started falling apart!
I painted a cute lil piglet! He's up for sale on my Etsy shop and you can get him as a greeting card, postcard or print! I really enjoyed painting with watercolours again and I honestly think he looks so cute 🐷
I made another cross-stitch ornament, again it’s on my Etsy shop if you would like it for yourself! I love this one!
I may be a little obsessed with making these little pouches! I made these for my sister to keep her guitar stuff in!
I haven’t sewed in a while so it took me a while to get back into it, but I made my mum a matching purse and pencil case set with some lovely fabric that I’ve had for years but had no idea what to do with 😂
And with that, Uni is done! Last night was the private view of the grad show in which I and my classmates presented our final Uni project! It was so fun getting to see all my work on display and everyone else work looked incredible!
The show is open until the 21st of June, and you can go see my work in Rochester House in Canterbury. I’ll be popping in on Tuesday to add to my display but I hope you’re able to pop in if to see everyone’s work!
