We’re passionate about the local gems that Canterbury has to offer. Woolton farm, located less than 5km away, has produced these 2 stunning bottles from their 2020 vintage🍃

Grown in their single vineyard, their white Bacchus and rosé Pinot Noir are perfect examples of what English wines have to offer. Their rosé is fresh and crisp with a citrus finish, alongside notes of rhubarb, rose and cranberry. Their Bacchus is equally as vibrant, with notes such as gooseberry, lemon and peach tarte.

Just like the Monument, Woolton Farm is steeped in the history of the land. If you love Canterbury as much as we do, there is no better place to enjoy these wines than on our lawn under the English sun🌿🌤️

What’s the only thing better than a pint of Iron Pier?
Two pints of Iron Pier, of course 🍻

This weeks beer rotation includes two real ales from the Kentish Brewery Iron Pier🍺
The brewery takes its name from the historic Gravesend Iron Pier, a Victorian era structure on the River Thames. This nod to local heritage reflects the brewery’s commitment to its roots in Northfleet, Kent, and its dedication to producing high-quality, locally-inspired craft beers 🍺⭐️

We’ve got Mack’s Milk Stout on, which is a rich and velvety milk stout with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The addition of lactose (milk sugar) gives a subtle sweetness to balance the dark malt bitterness.
This is perfect for those who appreciate rich, dark beers with complex flavor profiles.

Notes: Roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee 🍫☕️
There are nuances of dark fruits, like plum and raisin, adding depth to the taste.

Next up we have the South Pacific Pale, which uses New Zealand hops that are renowned for their distinctive tropical and citrus flavour. Its well-balanced flavour profile makes it a perfect choice for those who enjoy hop-forward beers that are refreshing and easy to drink. Ideal for warm weather or any occasion that calls for a bright and lively beer!☀️

Notes: passionfruit, pineapple and balanced by citrus grapefruit and lime🍍Its malt backbone provides a subtle biscuity sweetness to create a pleasant and refreshing pale ale

🍻Serving local ales & crisp pints from 12pm everyday!🍻
