A country pub near you oozing rural charm and rustic character. In 1781 the Old Gate Inn became a coaching house where travellers could rest for a night.

Dating back to 1728, the inn was built near the Toll Gate and was originally known as the Sign of the Gate. The first landlord was Richard Howard, who also collected the tolls and was a trained tallow chandler (maker of candles). On Saturday 7th September our team here at The Old Gate Inn are going to be cycling 100 miles on a static bike here in the pub in aid of this amazing charity to help end the cycle of homelessness.
We are trying to get to our target of £1000 raised, all of which will go straight to Social Bite Charity. To donate you just simply click on the link in our bio and donate whatever you can.

The Festival of Kindness campaign is a UK-wide relief effort to provide 300,000 Christmas dinners, food packs, essentials and gifts for people and families who are homeless and vulnerable this winter.
