Hello, and we are...
Beady Eye Theatre is an award-winning company based in Kent.
In 2019 we are focussing on making work as climate clowns - we are ‘MEarth MOthers’. Our work is visual, physical, playful and irreverent.
Current company members are Kristin Fredricksson (UK), Amy Howard (UK, Honk Project), Ruth Del Bosque (Spain) and Annette Foster (US).
‘Everything Must Go’ won the Total Theatre Award for best devised performance and the Arches Brick at the Edinburgh Festival in 2009 and toured nationally and internationally for two years including a two week run at the Barbican in 2010. ‘Cooking Ghosts’ was ACE funded and toured the South East and West in 2012-13. Smaller projects include ‘Senior Moments’ (2011) and ‘Tendering (you are a brick)’, an installation at Bread & Jam, New Cross in 2015, reprised 2019.
