Vietnamese New Year is fast approaching! This year to celebrate the festive period, we will be offering a full Vietnamese menu at the Fitzwalter Arms from Thursday 8th to Monday 12th.

With great sadness, we would like to announce that our Friday evening takeaway service will come to an end very soon. The last one will be on Friday 14th of July. We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for all your support from the day we started, back in April 2020, during the first lockdown!
But the good news is, if you miss us, you can find us at our new venue The Fitzwalter Arms in Goodnestone from the 20th of July. We would love to see some familiar faces!

Had fun cooking with these lovely ladies yesterday!

As the weather was rather dull today, I decided to have a bit of fun with some baking. Always wanted to attempt making croissants and my go to pastry (the lovely pain au raisin). Not quite a perfect 10, but very palatable! Apple strudel was reminiscent of our recent trip to Vienna. Goat cheese and pickled beetroot tart, as I needed to use up some goat cheese.
