A fantastic evening was had by all to celebrate the end of the first Mosaic Programme in Wales 🥳

It was run in partnership with the Muslim Council Wales - MCW and their iLead Junior programme.

16 young people completed the programme, where they worked with mentors to build their confidence, team work and communication skills as well as employability skills.

At the celebration last night, attended by their parents and esteemed members of the Muslim community, the young people shared the positive impact Mosaic has had on them.
We had an amazing time celebrating their achievements at the Dar-Ul-Isra Mosque in Cardiff, where we were invited to stay and join them for Iftar. ❤️

We're so proud of the students on the Prince's Trust Achieve programme and Community Impact project at Olchfa School 👏 🥳

As part of our Community Impact project, pupils in Mrs Davey's class have emailed various businesses for donations and have made 40 Christmas hampers for adults and children in the community and refuge experiencing domestic abuse. We will be inviting Hafan Cymru in on December 20th for a cake & coffee morning to present the hampers. We would like to thank all staff who donated as well as LUSH, Davies Homes and Ocean Aesthetics.

Meet Palvi (She/her) 👋 a Youth Development Lead from South London!⠀

Palvi is of Indian heritage, born in Kenya and raised in England. Last year, she was a young person on The Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme and with the support of The Prince’s Trust staff and volunteers, she managed to start my very own skincare product brand 😍⠀

The best part of the role is seeing the young person’s progress throughout our programmes and by the end, I can see their confidence has grown massively. Meet Jade (she/her)👋 a Youth Development Lead from South East London!

Jade was born and raised in Lewisham, she is 22 and a care leaver. She now works here at The Prince’s Trust and the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit.

🗯 Jade said: “my favourite part of my role as a YDL at The Prince’s Trust is seeing the final celebrations! These are the celebrations that get put on for the young people after they have completed their programme. It’s to celebrate their growth and success!”

Jade is passionate about helping young people become the best versions of themselves no matter where they have come from or their personal circumstances 🤍
