Luke and El had a visit from Natalie at The Big Issue Cymru to explore opportunities for Huggard clients and residents to become vendors. They also discussed ideas for some joint fun events!

We have a Harm Reduction Peer Support Group which meets regularly. This week’s session was hosted for the last time in a while by Jeanette. The group’s regular and new members want to wish Jeanette happy and safe travels, as she embarks on her next adventure.
Clients will be performing with The Choir with No Name next weekend at The Tabernacle Chapel in Cardiff. Do come along and support them.
The Police Community Support Officers who visit our centre to help with activities - have asked us to share news of a Fun Day next month. It's on Friday, 16 August, at Mount Stuart Infants & Junior School.

We encourage people in the Day Centre to take up a hobby. Something enjoyable far removed from the realities of everyday life. Chess is always popular and clients often ask staff to play, giving us an opportunity for engagement.

We were thrilled to be invited to Roath Community Chorus’s Madrigal Medley Megamix. It was a great evening and we enjoyed speaking to everyone who visited our stand and kindly donated more than £330 to us.
