Day in day out we stand with Indigenous Peoples. We respect them as custodians of their lands and most of the world's remaining biodiversity.

During his visit to Cymru, community leader of Ogiek, Peter Kitelo spoke with Hub Cymru Africa about their history of evictions, their successes and efforts to regain rights of their land.

A land area equivalent to 40% of the size of Wales is used overseas to grow Wales’ forest-risk imports.

Y Guarani yw’r grŵp mwyaf o Bobloedd Frodorol yn America Ladin!

Mae'r prosiect hwn yn cefnogi’r gymuned Guarani a'u sefydliad cynrychioliadol i atgyfnerthu eu hawliau a diogelu eu tiriogaeth yn erbyn diraddio'r bïom, sy'n hanfodol ar gyfer bodolaeth y bobl hyn.

This project supports the Guarani Indigenous Peoples to regain legal access to their lands in the Atlantic Forest & protect it from deforestation.

Illegal gold mining in the Yanomami Indigenous Territory.

Mae mwyngloddio anghyfreithlon yn gyrru datgoedwigo ar diriogaeth Brodorol y Yanomami.

This project trains Yanomami youth to use drone technology to monitor forests & take action.

Drwy fynd i’r afael â mwyngloddio aur anghyfreithlon, mae’r prosiect hwn yn cyfrannu at liniaru effeithiau byd-eang newid hinsawdd.

Diogelu tiriogaeth y Wampís | Securing the Wampís territory

The Wampís’ are under threat from extractive industries like oil drilling and logging.

Mae coedwig y Wampís yn yr Amazon ym Mheriw yn hanfodol i'r frwydr fyd-eang yn erbyn newid yn yr hinsawdd.

This project supports the Wampís to monitor land use including instances of deforestation, to strengthen their governance and culture, and to take action against the threats to their territory

Mae ei choedwigoedd yn storio 145m tunnell o garbon ac yn anhygoel o fioamrywiol!

Endangered species in West Toba 🇮🇩

Mae darnio coedwigoedd yng nghoedwigoedd Gorllewin Toba, Indonesia yn rhoi pwysau ar fodolaeth rhywogaethau sydd mewn perygl fel yr orangwtan Swmatraidd.

This project supports communities in the region to become stewards of the land whilst addressing livelihood concerns and protecting orangutan habitat

This project aims to support the Ogiek to seek legal recognition of their territory and preserve traditional cultural practices.

Mae prosiect yn cefnogi ffermwyr lleol i dyfu coed ac yn hyrwyddo bywoliaeth gynaliadwy.

Ers cael ei sefydlu, mae Rhaglen Plannu Coed Mbale wedi plannu bron i 25 miliwn o goed ac wedi cyflwyno manteision amgylcheddol a chymdeithasol pwysig i’r gymuned leol.

The Mbale Trees Programme is growing millions of trees annually and providing sustainable livelihood opportunities for communities.

This is to counter high deforestation rates, unpredictable weather patterns and the need to improve living conditions.

Rydym yn anelu i dyfu 50 miliwn o goed erbyn 2030!
We’re aiming to grow 50 million trees by 2030!
