The festival kicks off with an evening of conversation featuring the well-loved television presenter, author, nature advocate, and charity campaigner . Hosted by Pauline Cox, a nutritionist, author, and co-owner of , Julia will discuss the topics from her Sunday Times Bestseller, 'Walk Yourself Happy: Find Your Path to Health and Healing in Nature'. She will be at the Curzon on 5 June.

Also on 8 June, an interview with Sunday Times best-selling and award-winning author Christie Watson will take place. Christie, a professor of medical humanities at UEA and a former NHS nurse of twenty years, will discuss her latest gripping psychological drama that explores the lengths one might go to save their own life.

Liz Berry will grace Clevedon with her presence on 8 June, reading extracts from her spellbinding and prize-winning verse novel, 'The Home Child'. This work recounts her great aunt’s harrowing story as one of the thousands of orphaned children sent to Canada as indentured labourers and domestic servants over half a century.

For the younger generation, Kev F. Sutherland returns for the third year with his comic masterclass on 8 June.

Thank you to Sustainable Clevedon - a Transition Town for putting together such a varied program & Curzon cinema for hosting. We really do feel privileged to be part of this community 💚

It was great to see them harvesting this super nutritious & sustainable vegetable.

Although we don’t live in Cornwall, their dried & eco - friendly packed seaweed is available from our Clevedon shop so we can all reap the benefits 💪🏻

Did you know that supermarket eggs can be 2 weeks old by the time they’re put on the shelf? Our eggs come from just a few miles away in Chew Valley and are laid by free range chickens cared for by Tom & his team who are passionate about the welfare of their birds. This clearly shows in the colour and taste of the eggs.

Although the eggs don’t come in plastic, we are always keen to reduce waste where possible and therefore we encourage you to bring back your box to refill in our shops in return for a 15p discount 😁
