Hey everyone! 👋 For those who don’t know me, I’m Cj 🙋🏼‍♀️ the multitasking mum behind and . Life has been a beautiful whirlwind lately, especially since welcoming my precious baby girl, Aurelia. My husband and I, along with our liver-spotted Dalmatian, Barney, mainly live in London but travel back to Clevedon weekly. It’s a busy life, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Balancing the chaos of running multiple businesses while caring for a newborn is no small feat. Some days I feel like a superhero, other days I’m just proud I remembered to brush my hair! Aurelia has been my greatest adventure, teaching me patience, love, and the art of multitasking – think answering emails with one hand while rocking her to sleep with the other. I’m incredibly grateful for my incredible friends who take Aurelia for a push around the park so I can crack on with work in the shop.

I founded Muddy Boots in 2018, specializing in creating magical children’s parties across the UK. From our shop in Clevedon, we send out personalized items and thousands of biodegradable balloons every week. Not having plastic in the shop has always been a priority.

As one of the first sleepover companies to launch in the UK, we received a huge amount of exposure and got busy quickly, leading to 5am to 11pm days, including weekends. Like many, we faced tough times during COVID-19, nearly losing it all. But with determination and an amazing team, we powered through and are stronger than ever, creating unforgettable parties throughout the UK.

I also inherited Mary’s Restaurant from my beautiful Mum, Mary, who is no longer with us. If I’m not at Muddy Boots, you’ll likely find me enjoying a glass of New Zealand Sauvignon at Mary’s, cherishing her memory and legacy.
