Today we were able to present our certificates to everyone who took part in sports day, we are so proud of you! 🌟
Shields were awarded from P4 onwards for the pupils who gained the most points in their class and the runner up and our endeavour award.
The PTA held their raffle at sports day and the prize was collected today. 😊 Thank you so much to everyone who supported this event.
We finished our week at Gorran with our sports day! It was great to see how much fun everyone was having competing in the different races. Well done everyone. 🌟
The ice cream van at the end was a big hit!! 😊

Our swimmers have been hard at work achieving certificates for swimming brilliant distances and learning vital survival skills.

It was great to welcome Bryan Young, Director of Sport at Dalriada School to Gorran last week. He took a tag rugby session, passing on some of his skills and knowledge! The kids are really looking forward to the tournament next week.
Well done to our stars this week...we had some super artists, great listeners and a spelling champion! 🌟
Our brilliant P4/5 football team took part in a mini tournament in the Coleraine football club last week. We had so much fun and they showed great perseverance and teamwork. ⚽😊
Mrs. Hare has been part of Gorran Primary School for many years. Showing up in early spring and providing great excitement with her 'sprints' through the school grounds. This year we have spotted some leverets, with one in particular resting in its form (hiding place) close to our Nature Nook. 🐇

The stage is set and excitement is building! Next week the The Playhouse Portrush will be full and ready for an amazing performance of A Hint of Snow White. We cannot wait!!

What a beautiful day to be out learning and enjoying our school surroundings. In assembly we were in groups sharing information about the competitors for the 'Nature's got talent!!' Don't forget to have your vote!

Also, congratulations to our Choral speaking group who won their section in the Coleraine festival.
A huge thank you to all the parents, grandparents, staff, pupils and friends who gave up their evening to help out at our annual spring clean. It's amazing how much was achieved in one evening with every job ticked off the list. Thanks to the PTA who provided some much needed fuel!
As always we were so busy working that we forgot to take action shots, but the after pictures speak for themselves.
We are so thankful to have had Amy helping in our P5/6 class. We wish her all the best with the rest of her degree, perhaps we'll see her back in Gorran another day! ☺️
She was delighted to share the stage with our stars today with awards for friendship, creativity and hard work. Well done to our spelling champion and mathematician.🌟
Wow! We have watched so many amazing performances over the past week and are immensely proud of all our pupils. We want to say a huge thank you to the talented Mrs Murphy who has put her heart and soul into preparing the children for the festival. Thanks also to all those involved in organising and running another very successful festival.
