Congratulations to all our children who’ve achieved MORE Mathletics certificates for the month of April..SO proud of you, as always ❤️ Special prizes for our Platinum achievers were given out too! Keep up the great work everyone 👏🌟🎉

What a milestone! Our lovely local community neighbour, Ruby who’s lived in Boyne Row all her life, turned 100 afew weeks ago and we wanted to help her celebrate this VERY SPECIAL occasion. Soooo, every classroom designed and made her a unique birthday card which were kindly delivered via one of our children’s grandparents.
We just received an extremely thoughtful letter and photos from her nieces which we wanted to share with you. Happy 100th to Ruby 🥳🎉 💯🎉🥳

More celebrations in assembly this week with Mathletics certificates for all the hard workers during the month of March. It’s great to see the P1s’ smiles as they’re so proud when receiving their first few certificates and rightly so! WELL DONE EVERYONE and keep up the great work…hard work pays off! What a GREAT start to our special Easter week in school.
Tonight we had fantastic fun at our school “Bunny Drive” 🐰🎲
Thank you to EVERYONE who came along to support our school and ‘Friends of Ampertaine’ committee. There was plenty of chat and laughter rolling through the Lee Hall with prizes galore to win and loads of fun being had by so many. THANK YOU again for your very much appreciated support.

Book Character Day at Ampertaine
Today, we celebrated Literacy and the love of reading at Ampertaine PS. The children (and staff!) came to school dressed as their favourite book characters. The children had a special assembly, read stories, designed book covers, went on a book hunt, completed quizzes and everyone had time to just simply enjoy reading. Little Amps even came along and joined in the fun! A huge thank you to those who purchased books from the book fair and helped support our school. We will be able to use the money raised to purchase new reading books, AR books and replenish class libraries in Room 1 and 2.

The month of February brought MORE hard work in MATHLETICS and certificates were awarded to all these deserving children this morning in our special assembly. So proud of you all, well done Ampertaine! 👏👏🎉🎉

🥞We had a flippin’ great day on Pancake Tuesday.
🥞Everyone had the opportunity to make their own pancakes and choose a yummy topping.
🥞Lots of weighing, measuring, counting, turn taking, sequencing, but most of all, FUN and memories!
🥞And well done to Sam who won the pancake flipping competition in room 2 with 32 flips! 🥞

We have been really busy this week participating in both Safer Internet Day, and Children's Mental Health Awareness week.
We have had special themed assemblies and activities in each classroom.

Safer Internet Day was themed around Inspiring Change and working together to make positive change and to build a better safer online environment.

Children's Mental Health Week was themed 'My Voice Matters'.

‘My Voice Matters’ is about empowering children and young people by providing them with the tools they need to express themselves.

We are SO PROUD of all these children who log in faithfully to MATHLETICS every single week and achieve over 1000 points weekly….These special kids were rewarded in our special assembly this week with their 5th PLATINUM certificates and LOADS of prizes. FANTASTIC JOB! 🎉👏🌟🥳
