An amazing afternoon at the Crawley CAP Centre celebrating Easter with an afternoon tea, Easter crafts and of course and Easter egg hunt!! Thank you to all those who came to help out, those who donated and for all the amazing cakes baked. It was a wonderful time with 50+ clients and families being blessed!!

👂We’ve just heard the Chancellor announce his Autumn Statement in Parliament, outlining the UK Government's economic plans and fiscal policies for the next term. Sadly there was very little mention of support for low-income households during this time of high living costs.

🤝 Join us in calling on the Chancellor to do more.

💷 In an era of high costs, many low-income households are struggling to make ends meet. This summer we started calling on all major political parties to put poverty on the agenda and to make manifesto commitments to end or reduce poverty. Thanks to all those who joined in the call by signing the petition.

📣 Together we can unite our voices calling for change. It is not right that thousands of households are facing a cold, dark winter ahead. It is not fair that children will be going to sleep hungry. It is not okay that poverty’s grip on our nation is tightening.

At the moment we are at a 40% rise and our donations have lessened.

For the past 7years and especially throughout the cost of living Crisis and energy crisis the Crawley CAP centre has supported families in Crawley with financial struggles and continues to offer 100% free debt support, budgeting courses and life skills practical support. Alongside this, working to defeat the stigma of debt and the isolation that debt can cause.
