T.S. Swiftsure is a uniformed youth group that welcomes ages 8 - 16 years old. We provide a wide rang We welcome children from ages 8 to 16 years old.
Swiftsure is a uniformed youth group that was founded in 1974. Swiftsure provide a wide range of activities and the cadets learn basic seamanship skills and team building skills. As a ship, we take part in regional and national events that include the Regional Band Competition, the Regional Athletics and the National Shedfield camp. Our Deck Nights are on Tuesdays between 6:30pm - 8:00pm located at Copthorne Village Hall, Copthorne Bank, Copthorne, RH10 3RE.

Though the session was caught short by the weather, Swiftsure had fun with paddle boarding and learning how to play dominoes!
Day 1 and 2 of the NTC/BSA Troop 129 exchange trip to America. Rides and slides at Dorney Park and pizza night back at the hotel on Tuesday, followed by a pool party and baseball on Wednesday. The sun is high, and the cadets are all having a blast. π¬π§πΊπ²

Thank you to everyone who helped at Copthorne Carnival on Saturday. The weather was on our side and everyone was smiling all day long.
We were able to raise about Β£6000 which is absolutely amazing! π₯³ This was all made possible from the band marching in the parade and all the volunteers who ran the stalls and the BBQ throughout the day.

The first Swiftsure camp of the year was a cold one but lots of fun was had. Cadets learnt many new skills and everyone should be proud of what they achieved on the trip!
We hope everyone enjoyed the trip and all the great activities. Hopefully the next trip will bring nicer weather π

Each week we practice our routine for the upcoming N.T.C. Band Competition. The cadets are working very hard at trying to play without the need of music sheets.
